There is plenty of enjoyment to be had with these four pinball tables and slightly different mechanics provide variety and make sure that everyone can find a favourite among them. Moon Knight is our favourite but all of them are good making this pack a near must-have for all fans of digital pinball out there.

Saints Row: The Third has both highs and lows. The freedom, entertaining sillyness and some good ideas are held back by what too often is a tasteless, repetitive and mindless game. While the flawed controls and lack of technical polish frustrates further, there is certainly a lot of fun to be had with the over the top action, not least in the online co-op mode.

Why fix what's not broken? Darksiders II brings more of the same pick and mix magic that made Darksiders a sleeper hit. The addition of a WoW-based loot-system and more sidequests gives the illusion that it's not just an DLC-upgrade with a new skin. The game is a bit buggy and some puzzles feels a bit lazy, otherwise this is a sequel for everyone who loved the original.

New Super Mario Bros. U may not revolutionize the genre and doesn't show us what flashy stuff the new console has to offer. But the playful level design, well balanced difficulty level and flawless control are more than enough to make this into one of the best games in the genre. This is 2D-plattforming at its finest, and a must buy for anyone who owns a Wii U.

Trine 2 is a superb sequel that builds upon all the things the original did well. Its a beauitiful and extremely well crafted adventure with great value for such a low price.

Rift is probably the most stable and solid MMO ever to launch, and includes most of the functions you've grown accustomed to during the evolution of World of Warcraft. It's polished, has a lot of content and rich lore, but yet doesn't manage to feel unique or for lack of a better term, good.

A fantastic puzzle rpg that's miles ahead of the competition, with epic multiplayer modes and single player campaigns. The excessively long loading times and the poorly narrated story detracts somewhat from the experience, but this is an excellent choice for anyone who likes the genre.

Child of Eden is a wonderful game that delivers an experience like no other. The only real flaws are the short length and Kinect controls that only accept one arm at a time. This is a game that you should try at least once, even if your regular diet only consists of the Call of Duties and Mass Effects.

A big stumble forward as the new and greatly improved skating is slightly crippled by physics engine being slightly off. Smarter goalies and better stick checking makes for an improved defense, but not on behalf of goal scoring. Be a GM Connected is the real revolution and could render the looming lockout just a shrug.

Bulletstorm is a solid shooter that turns back the dial about 15 years - to a time when ultraviolence, arcadey gameplay and outrageous scenarios were the staples of a shooter. But it still manages to feel fresh and on par with the higher quality shooters we've seen emerge since 1995, and kicks it up with a brilliant scoring system that keeps the gameplay varied.

I can give my warm recommendations for Pit's return in Kid Icarus: Uprising – but also an ice-cold warning for the terrible controls when Pit reaches ground from being airborne. Book an appointment at the orthopedic clinic already, because this will take a huge toll on your wrists and elbows.

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is a great port of the popular Wii game that manages to capture what made the game excellent in the first place. Level design is spot on and the game contains loads of content and a high challenge level.

Ghost Trick consists of an impressively well written story told in an amazing way, combined with entertaining puzzles that will give your brain a workout. Even though it could be a tad more challenging and lacks the rewarding feeling you get when figuring something out in the Ace Attorney games, this is still an experience you don't want to miss.

Treyarch is striving to give the players even more content than before, which results in a campaign and a zombie mode that gives you a lot of replay value. The best of the best is their "Take Ten" concept in multiplayer, which sets a new standard for a genre that already has evolved so much in recent years. Battlefield is for the first time not the king of the hill – Call of Duty is.

Visually Sine Mora is stunning, when it comes to gameplay it will wear you down. I can only recommend it to hardcore shoot 'em up fans, the rest of you ought to be a bit more careful. However, this game is a good reminder of how good it is that games has become so much more forgiving during the last 20 years.

Simple but elegant mechanics combine with a wonderful soundtrack to create an incredibly immersive and joyful experience that no Vita-owner should miss. So plug in those earphones, crank the volume up to max and prepare for an almost transcendental voyage.

Despite trying to act as a gritty tale of survival, Resistance 3 is in essence just a regular shooter, with far more action filled firefights than lurking tales of humanity. Thankfully it's a well made game and has an impressive arsenal of excellent weapons, and the multiplayer - including a much-missed co-op mode - is a lot of fun.

The first three games in the Ratchet & Clank franchise receive a lovingly crafted graphical overhaul, further cementing their position as one of the premier platforming franchises to grace the PlayStation family of consoles. Both new and old fans alike will appreciate the foundation of the series, with its focus on action platforming, bizarre weapons and gadgetry and quirky characters.

Wins with simplicity. Strategically challenging without losing pace. Lack of variation and a bit to stupid AI brings down the grade, but it's still one of the more charming games I have played in a long time.

inFamous 2 is graphically way more polished version than it's predecessor, but it doesn't fix any of the inherent problems from the first game. The decent platforming, exploration and the varied and fun combat mechanics are slightly marred by repetitive mission structures and pacing problems, but ultimately the game delivers a really good romp in New Marais.

Just like its predecessor, Tekken Tag 2 gathers everything that makes the series great and improves it. A must buy if you are a fan of the series and if you're not this is an opportunity to get to know it.

The formula still holds in this game, but for a fifth iteration some new blood is needed. See this as a swan song for the DS, competent and still fun. But we're ready for the 3DS version now.

Lovely graphics and design makes this a standout Vita title, but the real greatness lies in how joyful the simple mechanics of shifting gravity and flying through the air are. Enjoying the wonderful city is easy with the powers of heroine Kat at your disposal, and Gravity Rush feels like a bigger experience than you should be able to keep in your pocket.

Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise is not the game that will make people buy back their Wii consoles from eBay. But it might be the game that ends the endless cavalcade of mini-games – and what a finale it is.

Charlie Blackmore's adventure is very beautiful and meticulously designed - with charming music and game mechanics that haven't been seen anywhere else. But creativity cannot alone earn a score, and Stacking lacks too much soul and is too careful when it comes to its humour.

HAL Laboratory have developed an adventure with amazing puzzles, exporations, unlockables and bonuses. Everyone with a Nintendo DS ought to own this game.

Ms Splosion is a very solid sequel that delivers great fun on the same basis as its predecessor. It's crazy, over the top and just as harshly difficult as Splosion Man, and then some.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the latest installment in the franchise and brings updated graphics, two new game modes and new weapons to the venerable shooter. Its qualities are undeniable, but the question is if these are the qualities requested by the player base? With only primitive features to support the esport community, it's not hard to imagine that the game will get a lukewarm reception.

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend is insanely beautiful and it offers game mechanics that few games in the genre can match. But sadly it's a bit too narrow and hardcore for me to fully embrace it and instead I find myself being very bored.

If you love Formula 1 games this is an absolute must, and it's the best F1 simulator on the market. Unfortunately it's not accepting of newcomers, so if you haven't watched the sport on tv or played a lot of heavy racing simulators the high difficutly level, time consuming races and the lack of tutorials may prove a problem.

A well-made conversion of the incredibly popular PC-game. The lack of features and modes is made up by a great interface, very good controls and the awesome possibility to play four player local co-op.

Resident Evil: Revelations is a beautiful game and a welcome addendum to a series that gradually has turned away from its roots. If the story hadn't been chopped to pieces - this game, with its narrow spaces and scarce ammo, would have been able to compete with tense horror titles like Dead Space.

The obvious choice for problem-solvers of all ages with decent English skills, and the best Professor Layton game so far.

This is truly not a game for everyone. But if you got the patience and commitment that’s required of you to get past the first seven hours of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, this will be an insanely addictive and rewarding game, especially if you go on hunts with friends. It still has a lot of flaws, but the core gameplay is awesome enough to compensate for these.

Despite the lack of new features Housemarque really knows how to create intensive action games. The low price point is enough to recommend Super StarDust Delta to all dual stick shooting game fans out there.

Great controls in a game that takes minutes to learn and ages to master. Top Spin 4 is one of the better tennis games on the market, thanks to the well-designed career mode and splendid online options.

While not exactly a bad thing, the single player campaign in PixelJunk Shooter 2 is basically more of the same puzzle/shoot'em up hybrid from the first game. However an interesting online battle mode adds both value and freshness to the formula.

There's something about Solstheim. The island was the peak of my Morrowind experience ten years ago and now Dragonborn introduces it as the high point of Skyrim. A must-buy for any fan of the series.

Dragon Age II continues the tradition of being a solid RPG in the spirit of the original game, but fails to fulfill its true potential due to sloppy quality control and incessant corner-cutting. This is a game that truly could have outshined Dragon Age: Origins with its many improved mechanics, but instead leaves us slightly disappointed.

A fall forward as Konami introduces a new indicator for manual passing and shooting. Long distance screamers in the top corner are a bit easy to pull off and slide tackles are too often penalized. Pro Evolution isn't bad, it's just second best.

Legend of Grimrock is old school in every way possible from the character building to the ancient controls and dark catacombs. But if you can overlook the initial awkwardness, Grimrock has some nice surprises. If you enjoy games like Eye of the Beholder and Ultima Underworld back in the days or if you're interested what your dad played when he was young but with updated graphics, this is the game for you.

An expansion that manifests Gearbox as the masters of DLC. Mr Tourge is a character you love to hate and the campaign is of near perfect length and filled with all the main games strengths and more.

Dragon’s Crown is a beautiful side scrolling 2D beat ’em up that mixes in loot chasing elements of action RPG’s like Diablo and the grinding aspects of a Japanese RPG. At times a frustrating game, but in the end a rewarding experience that should be enjoyed in small chunks at a time.

An ambitious remake. One of the most memorable campaigns in the history of first person shooters can now be relived with wonderful HD graphics. And six of the best multiplayer maps from the original rounds off what is a fantastic package with great value.

Sumo Digital has managed to create a cart racer that steps out of the shadow of Mario Kart and proudly stands beside it as an equal. The character gallery might not be as strong and sometimes the difficulty is almost too high, but Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is without a doubt the best cart racer of the year and one of the best additions to the genre of all times.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is a huge expansion to an already huge game. With more and increasingly diverse content, Blizzard shows that the venerable game can still amaze and capture players, both hardcore and casual. While the engine is showing its age, this is a fresh new World of Warcraft, inviting us to yet again fight for what is ours.

The single player campaign in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon may be fairly short, but it still rivals many retail titles in quality. It throws you back to a time when neon, cyborgs, lasers and synthesizers were the coolest things in the world. You may not play it several times over and over, but you’ll definitely enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Blacklist feels like Splinter Cell Conviction 2.0, which is not necessarily a bad remark. A few bugs and a less-than-interesting story chases away the top score. Nice split screen action and a sound that makes for a thick atmosphere keep it above average even though Sam Fisher himself is boring beyond belief for a character with at least six game titles to his name.

Metro: Last Light is a clear improvement from its predecessor and offers a very atmospheric shooting experience that borders on the survival horror genre.

Joe Danger 2: The Movie is an extremely fun and entertaining game, but at the same time it shows that more isn't always better. Joe Danger is an amazing game - the sequel has to settle for being really good.

NetherRealms uses their Mortal Kombat engine very well to create a game that doesn’t feel like a simple license job. There are lots of winks for the comic enthusiast with this great party fighter, but the seasoned fighter veterans may find it a bit shallow.

Despite originally being a PC game, Torchlight still manages to make the transition to Xbox 360 with pride. The frame rate is a bit rough, but apart from that it shines brightly and is well worth its asking price.

New Art Academy is a good tutorial for aspiring artists, or for portable drawing. With well-presented, educational tutorials, it's a good pick up that features a comprehensive journey through multiple disciplines and art styles, although with a very small screen.

A really great game has been demolished by the GamePad, Pro Controller and Wii-mote. All technical specifications and content is up to par with its competitors, but that doesn't matter at all if the controllers ruins the entire experience.

Indie game designer Jason Byrne has showed us what storytelling in video games is supposed to be like. The small world in Lone Survivor is full of mysteries, a Twin Peaks-esque atmosphere and the occasional laugh. The only downside is the shooting mechanism which feels misplaced, clumsy and could have been skipped all together.

Shift 2: Unleashed delivers intensive racing for real gear-heads, with a daunting difficulty level and impressive physics. The Autolog function is excellent, but the experience is marred somewhat by the cumbersome controls, far too agressive opponents and a too hard easy mode for newcomers.

Being very similar to the original, game this is more an expansion than a sequel. There is a new focus on getting down on the battlefield yourself piloting tanks or helicopters, but some of the charm is lost in the process.

ilomilo is extremely cute and charming, with excellent design and a well made co-op mode. It delivers plenty of fun hours of gaming. Even though the final chapter is a bit of a letdown.

A very good sequel in the Mario & Luigi RPG series that offers great variation and solid gameplay. Creative use of the 3DS features makes the game interesting to play for hours and the classic Mario game charm is captured in almost every aspect of this game.

Beautiful design and flawless presentation make SSX a hard-hitter this season. Unfortunately, its lack of local multiplayer and thin singleplayer experience doesn't quite make it live up to previous games in the series.

The Jak and Daxter Trilogy brings together the finest examples of action platforming to grace the PlayStation platforms, and updates them with great care. Though some aspects of the games may feel less than modern, they still stand out as great games much due to the characters and stories told.

Newcomers to the series will get a lot of entertainment for their money, but previous fans can mainly look forward to the 3D effects and the portability. Thankfully that's more than enough to make us happy.

Bleak, beautiful and violent, Vampire Smile provides great and atmospheric sidescrolling action. The lack of variety makes me only play in relatively short burts, but I keep coming back for more.

A charismatic but simple turn based strategy game. Skulls of the Shogun gives more laughs than tactical resistance, but is easy to learn and fun to play against friends.

Nadeo trims away the unnecessary to make TrackMania 2: Canyon an arcade racing experience that is as focused as it is brilliant. Selection of tracks is a bit uneven, but the good ones are great. Simplistic yet complex racing that really comes alive in online mode.

Gods & Kings adds some fun and interesting things to the game, but leaves the core gameplay intact. While none of the additions tries to revolutionize the Civilization V formula, each of them still manages to improve it, which makes Gods & Kings a good catch for those already hooked on the basic game.

Fans of Pokémon already knows what to expect from this game, and it has as usual the same high quality standard we are spoiled with. The lack of new regions or a lot more Pokémon's makes the game feel a little bit too familiar with the previous one, so much that I would call this an extremely well done expansion rather than a new game.

While Ezios final chapter is a fun romp through Istanbul, it could just have well been incorporated into Brotherhood with a bit of editing. The saving grace is the fleshed-out multiplayer modes and the interesting effects the bombs have on it. With a bit of luck the series will get back on track after the two latest interim-games, so fingers crossed that Assassin's Creed III dares to evolve the series as much as the second game did.

Nathan Drakes first portable adventure is equally as impressive as it is disappointing. Bend Studio have created a visually impressive adventure with an excellent control scheme, but the haphazard use of some motion controls and the lacklustre story are a small let-down.

From Dust is a great playground that constantly impresses with its jaw-dropping technology and dynamic environments. A must for anyone that craves more than just an action fix.

Renegade Ops is an absolute blast in any sense of the word. The great graphics, weighty handling and character upgrades create a fantastic, explosive and entertaining experience, and the chaotic multiplayer is the most fun you'll have in a game in a long time.

The single player campaign is among the best we've experienced, and we're impressed by the four armed fighting, the intense story and the dark athmosphere! However with such a short play time and an indifferent multiplayer modes we can't give this dark and twisted adventure the top score that the well made campaign deserves.

”Same mechanics, new skin” seems to be the motto for God of War: Ascension. A prequel without big flaws that lacks some extra spice. Fans of the mechanics and the character will find instant recognition but somewhat less satisfaction than the previous games.

Iron Galaxy Studios resurrects two of the most beautifully crafted 2D fighting games ever, and does so with grace. Night Warriors and Darkstalkers 3 are still unforgiving and difficult to learn, but well worth the time investment. Solid netcode and lots of extras sets the bar high for HD conversions.

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is a nice but a little thin update. The four new characters add to an already impressive lineup. The cost of the update is relatively small so fans of this fantastic fighting game should definately give it a go.

Puppeteer grabs you from the get-go and refuses to let go, partially thanks to the charm and the graphics, but mainly due to the quality of everything. With it's fantastical graphical style, really solid (and fun) voice-acting and story, it really shines. Puppeteer is easily the most disarmingly charming game since Little Big Planet.

With a suitably complex and violent story, Sleeping Dogs is a competently told tale of revenge in a sandboxed approximation of Hong Kong. With gameplay mechanics more coherent and well-implemented than most other games in the sandbox crime-simulator genre, it delivers a solid experience. The story, acting and atmosphere really shine through, but even on purely technical terms the game manages to stand out.

The Walking Dead: 400 Days bridges the first and second seasons of Telltales monumental adventure games. While it could have been longer, there's enough new questions raised and well-told personal moments to be worthwhile. Telltale still manages to deliver fantastic stories, and we can't wait to live through season two.

Relic may have taken a safe route with Company of Heroes 2 and made it very similar to the earlier games in the series, but that also means that it has the same cinematic and engaging action that made them famous. The campaign fails to deliver anything special but the skirmishes are just as fun as one could have hoped for.

The undisputed champ delivers another quality product. It’s a heavy hitting and hard punching game that tilts towards a more arcady experience. The physical game is not the only, but undoubtedly the most entertaining, way to play. Lots of small updates makes it an even more sleek experience off the ice than in previous years.

The Wii U edition doesn't have any new features that makes it much better than others, but just enough to make an already great game even better on this new console.

Despite being priced as an expansion, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution delivers a full experience with a solid campaign. However, at the moment the multiplayer leaves much to be desired, with poor architecture and weak matchmaking.

If you don't mind the slower tempo and if you really dedicate yourself to the game you will be rewarded with a fantastic experience. Pokémon Conquest is one of the most pleasant surprises of the year so far.

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen still has a few of the problems the original release had, but the sheer amount of adventuring and new sadistic areas to traverse more than makes up for the occasionally annoying pawns. In terms of gameplay, it's still a magnificent game, well balanced and an exciting game world to explore with plenty of loot to collect and enemies to slay.

What could have been a beautiful marriage between Kojima Productions and Platinum Games ends up disappointing in some respects, but Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance still manages to impress and overwhelm from a sheer technical and gameplay perspective. Raiden finally gets his revenge and manages to stand on his own as a solid character.

There's no real reason to buy the PlayStation Vita version of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 as the touch-screen controls are both simple and repetitive. The home console editions are both better and cheaper.

If this is Hironobu Sakaguchis last story, it's certainly sad, since it feels like he's finally managed to get back into form. It's a lavish, emotional tale told in a high pace, with strong, unusual characters, moral ambiguity and delivered with the precision we expect from the man. The one major complaint? It should have arrived earlier, while the Wii still had some life in it. Now it risks sinking into obscurity due to the target platform collecting dust in wardrobes.

The introduction of Move controllers should have been the best that has happened to this series, however I guess that we have to wait for PGA Tour 13 until it is perfected. It's still the best golf game out there to this date.

Lego City Undercover is a bold new direction for the Lego series. In many respects it is a successful first try, but there are quite a few technical mishaps. The open world concept needs some work, the load times are horrible and the lack of co-op is very disappointing. The game-play is still as simple and entertaining as ever though, and some of the missions and puzzles are among the greatest in the series.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an ambitious and good looking game, and if you're into more action packed role playing games you'll find a lot to like here. The sense of freedom is a bit of an illusion though, and the linear layout is a bit of a shame. But as long as you're aware of this you'll have a good time in Amalur.

Those of you who put in the time and effort needed will have a lot to gain from Rocksmith. Not just high scores, but the feeling of actually learning to play an instrument.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus is one of the best fighting games for the Vita and everyone who is interested in the genre should check it out as soon as possible.

Based on FIFA 11 rather than FIFA 12, some players might find this a step back, but what this really means is quicker and more accessible gameplay. All in all, Fifa Football almost perfectly recreates the console versions in the palm of your hands. There's lots of content here and it all works well, giving us high hopes for a simultaneous FIFA 13-release.

The Vita does not shame Street Fighter x Tekken, but the game is harder to control with the smaller buttons and the lack of two shoulder buttons. Despite that, this is still a good game with great online capabilities.

The obvious choice for any fans of beat 'em up games that want an excellent portable brawler. Great visuals, tight controls and loads of collectables and bonus features. Highly recommended for both newcomers and professionals. As long as you manage to find it in a Swedish store, that is.

Armored Kill is one of the best expansions I've ever played, for any game. It summarizes everything that makes Battlefield 3 such a unique and addictive experience and I would gladly recommend Armored Kill to everyone.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the Vita is basically the exact same game as the PS3-version. The problems I had with that version still remains, but the fact that Criterion managed to squeeze the entire game into the Vita is remarkable and it really does offer you the same experience, with the big advantage of being portable.
