Brawl is without a doubt a better game than last year's Basement Crawl, but it's still only a curiosity for fans of party games.

I really wanted to like Bloodlines 2. After all the production turmoil and underwhelming previews, I never expected it to be even half as good as the cult classic original - but I quietly hoped that a talented studio like The Chinese Room could at least pull the troubled project together. And while the game has a few enjoyable elements, they’re nowhere near enough to overshadow its many issues and downright inexcusable flaws.

    Dex
Dex creates an interesting world, but the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. It's a Kickstarter-funded game that quickly shows lack of budget and skilled developers. If you can see past the shortcomings and crude fighting system you will find a few hours of decent fun.

Right now Tharsis provides a few hours of fun, but there's not much to go back to after finishing the game on both difficulty settings. Choice Provisions' game is ingenious, evoking a lot of emotions, though at times it's a bit unfair.

F1 2015 is bland, full of bugs, and mediocre looking. It's hard to recommend this game even for the most dedicated F1 fans.

This refreshed version of Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy might be interesting for Quantic Dream fans, who did not have a chance to play the original. For everyone else, however, there are no interesting additions besides slightly improved graphics, and you really have to pay attention to notice it. We should expect more from the 'remasters'.

The Dwarves is a big disappointment. King Art tried too hard to stick to the books and released an unfinished product that offers neither challenges nor interesting plot. Serious limitations in gameplay, not very interesting interactions between characters and poor overall quality make the story about brave dwarves difficult to recommend.

Lower difficulty level and focus on stealth or action mechanics could make We Are The Dwarves a worthwhile proposition. In its current state, the Whale Rock Games' production can only be recommended for players fond of extreme challenges.

While many AA games manage to cleverly hide a small budget, the developers of Unknown 9: Awakening have failed in this art. Every element of this game reminds us that we are dealing with an underdeveloped product that proved too challenging for Reflector Entertainment. I don't understand why the studio didn't pick one style of gameplay and focus its limited resources on it. Add to this the poor performance of the PS5 version and serious technical problems, and you get a below-average title.

Cross of the Dutchman is the perfect example of mediocrity, but the game is short enough not to become boring and tiring. The light story presents the Dutch hero in rather superficial way, but an interesting theme is not enough for a good action game.

It's tough to go back to solo play after a couple of successful adventures with friends. Even then, modest choice of weapons, lack of addition classes and boss fights makes Necropolis interesting only for few hours, before the repetitiveness kicks in.

Skull and Bones was in development hell for many years, and unfortunately this effort was mostly in vain. Instead of - as Ubisoft calls it - a 'AAAA' game all we got is a simple MMO, created in a very archaic fashion.

Shelter 2 is still a unique and unconventional game, but larger world and no changes in gameplay introduce too much monotony to the experience.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an unambitious and in many ways completely unnecessary installment of the series. It doesn't introduce any significant innovations to the formula, and even the single-player campaign - usually a solid offering - completely disappoints this time.

Ten hours of platitudes about the brave Marines, vile aliens and treasures of the past - that's Space Hulk: Deathwing in a nutshell. Areas and atmosphere are impressive, which unfortunately can't be said about gameplay, optimization, and slapped-on cooperation.

Armikrog is a beautiful game, but full of bugs and with uninteresting story. It's a shame - The Neverhood had its unusual style and atmosphere, but this "spiritual successor" only gets the difficulty level and wonderful graphics right. Armikrog will provide a few hours of thinking, but will certainly not reach similar legendary status.

New game from Ninja Gaiden's creators offers an interesting combat system and an old-school gameplay, enough for a few pleasant hours of fun. However, a large number of bugs and flaws makes it hard to describe Zombie Squad's adventures as something more than average.

Even as a free game, Hardware: Rivals has serious problems with gathering enough players. Average graphics and not well-thought-out content keeps you interested only for a few skirmishes before all interest fades.

    ICY
ICY is a not very interesting story, with freedom and RPG elements kept to minimum, and heavily marketed survival boiling down to a few moments in supplies room. The game's theme shows promise, but there's just not enough well designed gameplay.

Homefront: The Revolution can at times make us feel like a freedom fighter. These moments are pleasant, but far too rare. Gameplay quickly boils down to checking tick-boxes on a map and even the story missions are not sufficiently engaging and interesting.

Shadwen's biggest problem is not the execution, but an excess of ideas. Frozenbyte tried to include various mechanics and concepts, prioritizing quantity, not quality. It seems the game would be better without the shallow emotional story and time-stopping system. Gameplay is more often annoying than fun.
