Are the beautiful views of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter justified by the pure beauty of them? We have to ask this question after being guided through a predictable story by an invisible hand. We’ll probably remember this game for the astounding visuals, rather than for its gameplay.- Eurogamer Italy

YS VIII for Nintendo Switch a lazy port from Sony’s consoles. Despite the use of dynamic resolution scaling (DRS) and halving the frame-rate to 30fps, both of these aspects suffer and fail to deliver in the heat of the action. Besides these technical issues, the experience is the same of the original release and this game offer a lot to old school RPG lovers.- Eurogamer Italy

While not particularly deep in combat system and level design, Ys Origin is still enjoyable today just like 14 years ago, thanks to reactive controls and an extreme fluidity of the experience, also on the narrative front.- Eurogamer Italy

As it is now, The Walking Dead is a good choice only for adventure maniacs with a hook for the zombies. Everyone else is advised to wait for the release of at least a pair of additional chapters and wait for our final review.- Eurogamer Italy

Metro Exodus tries to evolve the standards of the series by introducing large explorable areas, yet the best parts of the game are those that take place underground, when the player is alone struggling to survive.- Eurogamer Italy

Thanks to its great editor, simple and fun gameplay, and various game modes, both online and offline, ModNation Racers proves to be a great addition to the PS3 catalogue. If you're a fan of the "Mario Kart" genre, you should definitely give it a look!- Eurogamer Italy

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a long-lived, colorful and fun title, which takes the classic mechanics of RPGs and reimagines them in a Monster Hunter way; it's also a good sequel to the Nintendo 3DS spinoff title. Its only flaw is having dared little on the visual front, perhaps held back by the hardware limits of Nintendo's hybrid console.- Eurogamer Italy

Another dark post-apocalyptic action-adventure? Nope. Enslaved introduces gamers to a gorgeous and detailed world, full of mechanical quirkiness. If you can look past his flaws, you'll be rewarded with one of the best sci-fi games of the year. Give it a try, you wont regret it!- Eurogamer Italy

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited is a nice porting of the already awesome Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten published for PS3 in 2011. The game is still great, and works perfectly on the Sony's handheld.- Eurogamer Italy

Loop Hero is a highly addicting roguelite gaming, that strikes with its originality and complex game system. Game after game, loop after loop the mere concept of time will vanish, and it will leave you craving for more.- Eurogamer Italy

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist is not like Convinction, changing many of the good ideas of his predecessor in favor of other, more mainstream gameplay mechanics. Anyway, the game is fun and even exciting if you’re feeling inclined to the usual spy movie plots.- Eurogamer Italy

Metro Last Light is an excellent first person shooter that we recommend to all FPS maniacs. Those who were fascinated by the original Metro 2033, can proceed to an instant buy without even checking the package with a Geiger counter.- Eurogamer Italy

The Switch remake of Toad and Toadette’s adventures offers little to convince the returning players: the experience is almost identical to the Wii U version. If you haven’t played the original edition here’s a good chance to pick up a great puzzle adventure, but beware that it’ll end in less than 10 hours.- Eurogamer Italy

Zen Pinball 2 for PlayStation 4 is a solid pinball game like the PS3 and Vita versions, but unfortunately there’s a small delay with flippers and DualShock 4 controls. Owners of PS3/Vita versions can automatically download tables purchased in the past at no extra cost, which is nice since Pinball Arcade doesn’t allow you to do that.- Eurogamer Italy
