This is currently the best exclusive the Xbox One has to offer.

I'd say 'fans of the genre, go ahead and get this', but honestly, there's no way you don't already have it.

NBA 2K15 is beautiful, atmospheric and oozes class that's worthy of the best league in the world.

If you ate up titles like Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance or Devil May Cry because of their fighting systems, Korra is your game. It's just a shame that the narrative is so far removed from the quality we have come to expect from the series.

As soon as you invest the requisite time and a bit of cash in Project Spark, you'll find it to be a wonderful tool that leaves little to be desired.

These ingredients alone don't make a good game, just one that suggests the quality it could have had. It's almost tragic, really.

You have to have some interest in speedruns and an affinity for dexterity games from the first-person perspective with a Quake-like pace. Then you might love it, even though you still have to look past an overly obscure level-design.

This is a great 4X title that leaves little to be desired. You really feel the decades of experience behind Beyond Earth.

There is nothing terribly new here, it's got the same old weaknesses and almost no new strengths. But it builds something incredibly solid and lively on its tried and tested foundation.

Those big pixels back then may not be for everybody anymore, but despite their low count, they managed to give every screen its own appeal, style and distinctive character. As good as the story and some of the puzzles still are, this aspect didn’t carry over. The remake is visually completely forgettable.

If drivers and tracks of 2014 matter to you, you can go for it. Otherwise just wait until next year, especially on the consoles.

Styx: Master of Shadows may not be as pretty as the last Thief, but as a stealth game it comes in ahead of the former master. Bigger levels, more options to traverse them, more powerful tools to use and Styx himself is just a better character. Too bad that jumping often results in trial and error due to some flawed mechanics.

As a sequel, Legend of Grimrock 2 parties like it's 1991 and itself is a Beholder: bigger, better and basically the same game… I guess not that much has changed since then when it comes to sequels. Anyway, for every one of you dungeon crawlers out there, this one is a dream come true.

Even with all of the convoluted stuff surrounding them, there are at least a hundred good ideas in The Evil Within. Not two levels are alike, no bullet is wasted, not one minute is boring. When this enormous, visually stunning nightmare comes to an end, it leaves you deeply satisfied. That’s no small feat.

Buy it if you liked the first one. Buy it, if you love it over the top all the way. Buy it if you love video games. Buy a Wii U if you have to. Bayonetta 2 sings all its praises in a celebration to this hobby of ours. But don't make the mistake of not playing it.

There is a lot of good to be found in Alien Isolation. In the end, this one is just one good writer and five levels less away from being a true classic.

It's the visually masterfully realised translation of a Lovecraftian short story into something that is not necessarily a horror game and maybe not even a real video game per se. But be that as it may, I had two evenings of excellent entertainment, so there is little to complain about.

If you liked LocoCycle's acting achievements and value plain silliness over gameplay then Roundabout might be worth a look. But even then you better hold out until the next sale.

A good bullet hell never really gets old...It's not an essential even if you are a fan of the genre. But still, for an almost ten year old action title, this one has remained surprisingly young at heart.

Give the AI more bite, make the end game a bit better and focus the skill tree and Firaxis will be in trouble when the next 'Endless' game comes around.

Ivory King is permeated by a strange sort of sad relief that this journey has ultimately come to a definitive end. At the same time, this last DLC gives you countless compelling reasons to really savour this goodbye.

Crimes and Punishment is not the sort of adventure where you jam-pack your inventory with random items and boredly click away window after window of borderline meaningless dialog. It's a real detective game – the video game equivalent of a crime novel, suspenseful, but ultimately undemanding.

It's still a very engaging (couch) co-op experience, until routine sets in and you have to throw in something else for a bit. Still, the good news is, Gauntlet's saga is not quite over yet.

So it's true. One does not simply walk into Mordor. But seeing as we're already here, we might as well pull some Uruk Hai strings, watch a few heads roll and make ourselves at home.

Wasteland 2 doesn't tell its grander story as thrillingly as its smaller ones, but Fargo's team hasn't forgotten a thing about designing RPGs. inXile delivers an utterly expansive, cozy and wonderfully deep apocalyptic adventure you kind of want to thank them for.
