Trials would have been able to survive the free to play treatment. But coupled with the downgrade in precision and, consequently, the lacking will to challenge the player, Frontier just doesn't manage to 'wow' in the usual Trials way.- Eurogamer Germany

It's a nice idea for sure, but Mercenary King's parts just don't come together in a satisfying way.- Eurogamer Germany

It simply is the most trek-like game on the most trek-like device. This extraordinary gauntlet feels right at home on the iPad.- Eurogamer Germany

While this is still expertly made and well worth the time and money, really relevant information regarding the murders was few and far between. You don't feel like Bigby is running the investigation, he's hopelessly trailing behind for the third consecutive episode.- Eurogamer Germany

Kinect itself might be a more powerful device that before. But without developers that harness its potential, the games for it will not make any progress for yet another generation.- Eurogamer Germany

Until Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous hopefully re-ignite the space-opera genre, Strike Suit Zero is pretty much as good as it gets.- Eurogamer Germany

In the future, the community could mod this to be a truly outstanding experience. And I sincerely hope the developers pitch in some new things as well. So, is it a game for everyone? Absolutely not. But if you're looking for something that's really, really out there, you'll enjoy this quite a bit, if only for a while.- Eurogamer Germany

Somewhere in between there's a really good game hidden away. It's just a shame that it only showed itself ever so often, only to vanish again for hours.- Eurogamer Germany

The fresh new skills are great, as is the loot. Adventure mode's just heavenly, and the new classes have exceeded my expectations. As soon as Blizzard integrates a ladder and gets the PVP straightened out, the competition will be done for years to come.- Eurogamer Germany

Great level design and brilliant dialogue in the second act have you thrilled for the resolution of this well crafted DLC. But that's where Levine overdoes it a bit. It feels forced in a way, as the steps he has to take to get us there, aren't too believable. In some ways he even takes away some of the first Bioshock's magic in the process, which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.- Eurogamer Germany

In light of the fact that both series got strong new entries over the last year, this unlikely meeting of heroes is quite impressive. The pace regularly changes enjoyably between these two distinct kinds of gaming. That they never really mesh is probably the games biggest singular issue. But, as we surely can all agree, there's way worse problems to have.- Eurogamer Germany

It's a lot of fun for a considerable amount of time – until you hit that skill-ceiling and wish there was something more to strive for than a place on the leaderboards. Still, with every single go being very short indeed, Vlambeer's newest game is perfect for short bursts where ever you have to kill a few minutes.- Eurogamer Germany

Blizzard's team has done about everything right with Hearthstone. They took tried and tested pieces from other card games, found clever mechanisms to take away their weak spots and other frustrations and offer a strong and addictive free-to-play experience.- Eurogamer Germany

Moving about the impressive cityscape with the help of your miracle powers is a boon. But Second Son is lacking in plot, characters and worthwhile side missions, to be something genuinely impressive. Instead, it's a bit too content to tread well-known paths.- Eurogamer Germany

It's not an easy sell. In terms of gameplay it's two not all-too-long evenings of entertaining mission gameplay plus quite a few hours spent trying to leave a lasting impression on the numerous leaderboards. I don't regret one second I put into this, took it in with a lot of curiosity and wonder. Still, you can't shake the feeling that this would have been served better as part of The Phantom Pain. As a stand alone game, it's hardly essential.- Eurogamer Germany

It's a dialogue-heavy, but ultimately solid bridging episode that's probably going to be compared to the fourth part of season one, when it's all said and done. You get the feeling it's only about to really get started now.- Eurogamer Germany

The Stick of Truth is a great game, no doubt. Sadly, the adventure is brief one that leaves you craving more. This is a testimony to the sublime quality that's on offer here, but doesn't change the fact that you're a bit unsatisfied when you're done with it. Still, if you like the series at all, you should absolutely play this.- Eurogamer Germany

Turns out, RE4 is not a timeless classic, then, but it's a classic nonetheless. And as such you shout, by all means, have played it at least once in your life. The closer to release you did that, the better. But for a mere 20 Bucks you can hardly go wrong in 2014, as well.- Eurogamer Germany

Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is another example that visual novel games don't have to rely on just static texts and images. Spike Chunsoft built some intense mechanics here that will glue you closer to the screen than some crime-dramas out there.- Eurogamer Germany
