Barring the possible subtext about adventure game protagonists (which may be entirely in my head), the game is artistically bankrupt – it copies ideas, spouts constant references in lieu of jokes, and features a story so flawed that even its own writers seemed to give up by the end of it.

For someone looking for a game like the Baldur’s Gate titles but with more emphasis on spending time fighting monsters and delving through dungeons, this may be just the thing.

Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is yet another great addition to the series. Lucid Games has added innovative features that makes the series feel like a step forward but also manages to give fans a game that stays true to its roots.

It’s a competent but unambitious physics platformer – nothing more, and nothing less.

Overly referential with gameplay that doesn't go anywhere.

It’s a game that constantly entices you to see what the next puzzle or story bit has to offer. In that regard, it rarely disappoints, and the experience stays with you long after you finish it.

Peggle 2 is still a solid casual game whose randomness and variety of challenges provide the levels with a lot of replayability.

Rollers of the Realm doesn’t have the same flash as real world pinball games, but its richness of character and personality are just as attractive.

If you’re a fan of Game of Thrones, there is no doubt in my mind that you should pick this up. I cannot wait to see where this goes and how the rest of the story fits into the wider universe HBO adapted from George R. R. Martin’s novels. If you are a non-fan, there is certainly enough here to make a compelling argument for why you should be one, but I fail to see why you would even care to start.

If you held out this long to play Grand Theft Auto V, wait no longer. I wouldn’t call this a “definitive” version, but it is damn near close.

Finding enjoyment in Unity requires a great deal of patience, more than anyone can afford. I want to like the game, and I do to some extent, however I cannot ignore that it’s broken. And there is no patch that can ever save Unity from its tarnished image.

After playing Project Spark for an extended period of time, I must say I was disappointed. A game built around creation makes it frustratingly difficult to do so.

A simple rogue-like shoot’em up adventure with tons of replay value that manages to add so much to its original incarnation that I can say without a shadow of doubt that, yes, The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth was worth remaking.

With a multitude of character customization options and out of control boob physics, Bon Appetit has everything one could expect from a Senran Kagura title. If the gameplay were given the same attention and creativity as the girls, it could have been amazing.

Lords of the Fallen isn’t a perfect game but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth playing. The lack of polish and balancing issues prevents the game from meeting its true potential, but the game successfully delivers to fans entertaining combat with a great risk-reward system that sets it apart in its own right.

It doesn’t live up to what it could, what it SHOULD, be. It has some cool ideas, it has some that need work and it needs more content. It survives because it has a solid parent of a game to draw upon but it hasn’t done enough to distance itself far enough away.
