On the surface LA Cops appears to be a solid top-down shooter. Unfortunately, it relies too heavily on a broken teamwork system. The shoddy AI works against the game and results in the game being more of a frustrating title than an fun one.- DarkStation

For the most part, however, Tormentum: Dark Sorrow is a game that succeeds at what it sets out to do. It doesn’t reinvent the point-and-click adventure game, but it doesn’t have to in order to tell its dark and gruesome story.- DarkStation

As a standalone arcade game it isn’t worth much. The multiplayer is what makes it great, whether it be local or online. It offers a face paced and ever-changing game space that can be fun for everyone.- DarkStation

It’s fun, but if you really stick with it, then it turns into something a lot more challenging and enjoyable.- DarkStation

The exploration loop is incredibly satisfying, and combat feels both tight and adaptable, like a complex dance where the partners both accentuate each others strengths, allowing any weak points to fade into the background.- DarkStation

It has a unique design and style. The colors are vibrant and the story is very touching and thoughtful. However, when it comes down to the actual gameplay the game is frustration.- DarkStation

Hotline Miami’s difficulty already kind of bordered into unfair territory, so it’s likely that fans of the original will be able to forgive this sequel’s faults. It does absolutely nothing to attract new fans, but then, no one was asking it to.- DarkStation

Hardline is liable to satisfy Battlefield diehards for the next few months until something new comes along or new content is offered. For those sitting on the fence, the changes made to the Battlefield design are interesting but not enough to warrant paying full price just yet.- DarkStation

“Atlas Mugged” is a disappointing stumble to what started out as an amazing burst out of the gate and I’m left hoping the next episode can make the rebound.- DarkStation

Whether or not you’ll enjoy the game is entirely dependent on how much you enjoy oddball humor and being surprised. In short, if the title Freaking Meatbags piqued your curiosity, trust that instinct and dig in.- DarkStation

But other than those minor grievances, I found the overall experience to be a fun, unique experience that lends itself to a variety of play styles, giving it a good amount of replay value. With a little more polish, it could become a cult classic.- DarkStation

Elite: Dangerous requires an investment of time, patience and regular visits to the game’s fan community. The tutorial covers the extreme basis of starship operation, combat, and docking procedures but everything else in between is up to the player to figure out. Get past these hurdles and you’ll find a space simulation experience like no other, filled with gorgeous galactic vistas and the opportunity for fortune and glory.- DarkStation

Beautiful as Evolve is, looks alone can’t make a game. The skeleton of a better game is visible just beneath the surface, but numerous glaring imbalances and questionable design choices ensure that there’s sadly little meat left on these bones. The thrill of the hunt is mitigated in the best of matches, and rendered altogether pointless in the worst.- DarkStation

Fans of the game will be happy with the upgraded graphics and portability, and newcomers will be interested in the more structured guidance. It’s good to be weird sometimes, and Majora’s Mask 3D embraces that thought.- DarkStation

The best advice I can give is to not come into Persona Q looking for another handheld version of the previous two games. The changes made to the formula may seem minor but they have a huge impact on the experience.- DarkStation

The Order: 1886 is such a great looking game, and it’s sad that the gameplay couldn’t be just as impressive. The game falls victim to the old cliche “All flash, no substance”. The cinematic experience is overshadowed by the boring gameplay leading to a visually stunning game but unimaginative, monotonous overall experience.- DarkStation

If you just want to play a game that’s all about pointless grinding, for whatever weird reason, then go ahead. But Citizens of Earth just can’t keep up with the promise of its story and falls flat after just a few hours and then you realize that you’re somehow not even halfway done.- DarkStation
