Beneath what I had originally found so interesting I found a game frustratingly vague, that held for me no wonder, nothing that drove me to want to explore or survive.

Winter is most definently coming, and for the Forresters, they had better hope that their family motto, Iron from Ice, hold true.

Minor problems aside, it is refreshing to play an adventure game that offers up a creative science fiction story while providing an optimal amount of challenge.

This game deserved to be full throttle from the very beginning, because of how awesome the tone and art direction is. It is not until you master your skills that Ronin actually becomes rewarding, but when it does you feel like a ninja master.

Unlike Arkham Origins, which felt like the Arkham story’s unwelcomed little brother, Arkham Knight earns its position as the end of this triolgy. It goes out hard and fast, carrying one of comics most iconic characters into an unknown twilight, and leaving us with Rocksteady’s undisputed triumph over the licensed game space.

I came away feeling like it was a launch title. It’s missing the robust features and course set that video game golf enthusiasts have come to know. It has a lot of the mechanics down well enough but the game doesn’t have enough content to warrant the price tag.

It’s a thought provoking game with a lot of heart, and it left me excited to see what Swordtales decides to put out next.

If you find it on sale, mega-sale even, and have nothing else to play I suppose you could romp around the world and mindlessly kill things. This isn’t one of those games that’s fun to play despite the jankiness. It’s just not fun.

This might not be the best edition, considering the text issue, but it is a great game that lets you be the jail bird you always wanted to be.

ScreamRide is a pleasant surprise. What’s more, it was developed by Elite: Dangerous studio Frontier Developments. As it turns out, they’re adept at both space simulation and theme park design.

Super Exploding Zoo would have been a good way to kill an hour or two if it were fun. Instead, it’s trying, boring and a chore to play.

If you hadn’t had a chance to play it yet at all though, and your computer can handle it, the PC version does definitely feel like the definitive version.

And with a solid gameplay, an engaging cast of characters and lots of hours of adventures, Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker is a more than worthy entry in the long running series.

State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition doesn’t do much to standout from the original version of the game. Bugs, glitches, and other issues consistently drag down the experience but the sheer amount content, exhilarating survival elements, and solid gameplay saves the day leaving us with hours of fun inside this zombie playground.

The writing doesn’t really save the fact that you spend most of this game just hitting the same buttons in order until victory. I guess sometimes that’s all you want, but if that’s the case, why not just play something like Cookie Clicker instead?

Even after multiple playthroughs and making all possible decisions, it’s difficult to say with certainty what Epanalepsis is all about. Like all good science fiction, it invites multiple interpretations, but in this case may not add up to anything of substance. Despite that, the journey itself and the thoughts it inspires are worth recommending.

The Consequence is entertaining. It’s not an introspective, philosophical mindbender; it’s campy fun. It has its flaws, but in a game where Claude Debussy’s “Claire De Lune” is mixed with Inception, buckets of blood, and a Victorian loveseat/black cat combo that acts as your save point, I can’t help but enjoy it.

The all too familiar Quick Time Event mechanic, featured prominently in “Catch A Ride,” is old and its age is made all the more noticeable because of the weak story. It’s also unfunny, hurt by technical issues, and fails to inject excitement in its own narrative, one that I still have no idea of where it’s planning to go.

You have nothing to lose if you want to try Stretchmo, so go ahead and download it! Odds are you’ll fall in love with it like I have with all of these games, and this latest entry is still a ton of fun to get into and tear apart. Play it, buy some levels, and achieve puzzle platforming bliss on the go.

Games like this on the Wii didn’t sell anything compared what Nintendo was able to do with Mario, and the majority of 3DS owners don’t have access to the title since it’s a N3DS exclusive. Still, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is worth buying a new system for, and this is a must-have for longtime jrpg fans.

Given how disappointingly underwhelming this game is, and how much is locked behind pay-walls and ZEN points (Neverwinter‘s arbitrary currency purchased with real-world money), I pretty quickly decided to play something else.
