More compelling than "Ninety-Nine Nights," but that's not saying much. The graphics are disappointing and the audio should've been left in its original Japanese. Truly, with CG sequences this good, the use of cheap SoCal voice talent removes any sense of immersion.

It doesn't offer anything innovative, but it's good old-fashioned fun, which is something the Xbox 360 seems to be missing.

With all the good going for Bomberman for PSP, it's tough to not recommend it to everyone, but that $40 price tag seems a tad excessive. After all, you've basically got what could be a $10 download game on the Web combined with an emulated version of a 10+ year old arcade title with a little WiFi (local play only, no Internet) on top.

Generally not a terrible game, but it grows tedious all too quickly.

It's not terrible by any stretch, but it's not exciting enough for survival/horror fans, and it's a little too old-fashioned for the adventure fans out there.

The controls are revolutionary and the game looks great, but there's still room for improvement on the puck physics and pacing. A few more features would be nice, too.

Kudos to the developer for squeezing this much game into a DS cart.

A genre-specific racing sim that immerses you in the world of round-track racing, NASCAR '07 does not disappoint.

Technically, graphically and aurally it's impressive, but if you're not into the act of driving or not on Xbox Live, it's best suited to be a rental. The multiplayer socialization and implementation is really where it shines.

A good story, decent length and immersive gameplay make the game shine, but lots of loading, vague subquests and camera control hold it back somewhat.

Not a bad game by any means, but the slow initial pace combined with horrible voice work make for a game that most players won't want to make it past hour 5.

    • 65 Critic Score
Some dumb moves by the AI and bad voice acting drag the game down a bit, but if you don't take it too seriously, you will enjoy it a lot more.

Simply put, NIS America's latest tactical role-playing game is a must-have for genre fans, but a little too extreme for the common gamer.

It's still the same old Madden, emphasis on old. The mini-games are fun, but next time focus on fixing those bugs and giving us some more meat, OK guys?

Easily the worst game we've played on Xbox 360, and worse even than most last-gen consoles' button mashers.

The hardest and most unforgiving racing game known to man, it's not even all that enjoyable for a hardcore drift racing fan. The annoying announcers are just icing on this horrible cake.

Deeper than your typical button masher, and it has the best Achievements list yet. The quirky save system can be a total annoyance, though.

Still a very good football game, but a step down from what we'd normally expect.

Spirit walking and weird gravity are fun and fresh, but not having consequences for death takes away some overall suspense.

Being able to (mostly) control an RTS on a console is great, but it still has a few control and graphics snafus to work through.

After years of seeing Konami pump out game after game in the MGS universe, it's a pleasant surprise to see them use the franchise in a wholly unique way.

So there you have it, Astonishia Story, a feeble attempt by Ubisoft to bring a hackneyed tactical RPG to American shores.

All in all, Gradius Collection is a set of "fan's games," in that only someone who really loves the hyperactive side-scrolling action of the original can love this package.

Much more than a clone of "SimCity", City Life is a deep, realistic urban planning simulation that is both challenging and entertaining.
