A technological masterpiece that is also a great enjoyment to play. All I have to say is run, do not walk, to your video game store and buy this work of art, for if you do not, I will send the final character from the game, Inferno, to influence your purchase decision.

This is probably the best game you can get on the Nintendo 64.

Every element has been finely crafted, from sound to graphics to cut-scenes to gameplay. All of this thrusts the player in to a tumultuous thrill ride that has no bounds. And as for the multiplayer, it is a well implemented feature too.

Mass Effect 2 is a sequel that offers a much improved experience over its predecessor. The story, the graphics, and the gameplay all combine to offer a more refined game then the original.

Oblivion is good, but it's a flawed good. It's a different experience in many ways to previous Elder Scrolls games, but, at the same time, it's still the familiar world Elder Scrolls fans know and love. It has the usual kickass story, but the difficulty curve is a bit wobbly, to say the least, and, in general, it's a story of give and take.

To me it is like a well-written novel, I just couldn't put it down.

This game has so many new innovations that it leaves its predecessors in the dust.

Each level is of a perfect length as the player finishes just as he or she feels they are getting bored yet has an addictive quality to them which makes you want to play it again and again.

Da Graphics: To say nothing short of astonishing is an understatement.

But it is the new Wii specific controls that I found brought a new dynamic to the third-person controls that Nintendo pioneered with "Ocarina of Time."

Portal 2 is a top notch experience throughout. Whether you're a fan of the first game, looking for a grade A title, or simply looking for an experience other than the myriad of shooters out there today which, with Portal 2, you can't go wrong here. If the story doesn't keep you coming back the cooperative multiplayer or puzzle based gameplay will. Portal 2 is another great title from Valve and definitely worth the price of admission.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is simply a terrific game and a solid addition to the Call of Duty franchise.

Batman: Arkham City is about as good as it gets when it comes to action adventure video games. Engaging storyline, slick combat, superb visuals and deep single player campaign mode makes Batman: Arkham City a must own title this holiday season.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is the perfect 3DS game for those looking for a title that will last for a long time. Although it is a port of the 13 year old original, the improvements in graphics, and new gameplay features, add just enough to the original formula to make this a must have title for everyone. I for one am happy to recommend this game to all those 3DS owners out there, from those who played the game so long ago, to those who have not had a chance to experience Nintendo gaming at it finest.

Likely the best game released in the last decade.

Compared to Activision's third instalment of the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare blows it out of the water and then some.

Bungie was able to utilize the 360's hardware to provide not only a visual stunning masterpiece, but a great sounding one too.

With amazingly addictive gameplay, fabulous graphics, astonishing speed and enjoyable online gameplay (when EA's servers are cooperating) one cannot help but not want to play this title all the time.

Whether it be shooting from the back of motor bike, escaping from some mecht-like creatures, or protecting a friend; Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots features some of the best gameplay and cinematic scenes on the PS3 to date.

The game is large and complex but all the elements interact with each other with such cohesiveness and fluidity.

From the solid graphics, great sound to the nearly perfect gameplay, you really can’t find anything wrong with this game.

The sheer breadth of gameplay and the incomparable selection of cars offered sets "Gran Turismo 2" far above the competition.

The movie style production values from the visuals to the voice acting to the sound and story were far above anything I would expect out of a PS2 game.

The graphics are grand, the sound is phat, and the whacked out tracks are so weird and wonderful you'd think you were on glue.

The graphics are incredible, the frame rate is stellar, the addictiveness is unmeasured and most of all there is the ability to play this game online.

A game that seems to never end as the amount of things to do is immeasurable.

Gears 2 has taken everything that the original did well and added some pretty good improvements making it a well rounded package.

There really is no substitute for a great story that Skies of Arcadia delivers, big time. Oversoft has blended this with great graphics giving DC owners exactly what they have been craving.

Arguably one of the best racing titles to be found on any console. A good mix of arcade and sim gameplay combined with a jaw-dropping graphics and superb presentation makes this a must have title.

Even as I struggled with NBA 2K1's difficulty I found it very rewarding especially in Street mode.

With its light-hearted plot, loveable characters, innovative gameplay and perfectly fitting music, this game should appeal to anyone and everyone.

God of War III is not only a high definition upgrade on what is an already fantastic series; it is a game that improves on what it has done so well in the past

For fans of the series Uncharted 3 is a more than a competent and completely rewarding continuation of the Nathan Drake saga and worthy of a purchase this holiday season.

If you want to have a blast over the holidays, go out and buy it. Rock on!

One of those rare jewels that come along once every four or five years and just can't be ignored.

Whether you like tennis or not, this game is a visual masterpiece that is a definite must have for any Dreamcast owner's ever-growing library of games.

Forza 3 is by far one of the most accessible racing simulators ever released onto the masses.

Super Mario Sunshine plays pretty much like it's 64-bit predecessor and controlling Mario has never been easier.

This game stands as an example of the absolute definition of a great sequel. It is so much improved that I cannot even fathom going back to play the original now.

Wonderful. While raunchy (at times to the point of stomach turning) and offensive to nearly anyone, you have to understand it's all in good fun.

Bottomline, there are a lot more improvements here then I was expecting as Harmonix did so much more then just update the set-list.

Priced at $39.99, this collection should have a proud spot in any gamers PS3 collection. The HD doesn't make these games look brand new, but these timeless classics are aesthetically pleasing no matter what year it is.

An amazing masterpiece that is unmatched by any Next-Gen game. The areas are put together flawlessly, the enemies are very cool and the bosses are few but amazing.

Little Big Planet 2 is a very accessible game as it can be played in small bursts and does not require a whole lot of skill or commitment. Although its campaign is rather short (one that you could probably finish in one sitting), the fact that you can make your own levels and play levels/games that others in the community have created gives it endless replay value.

Once again, Nintendo has proven they know how to pay homage to both their hardcore fans and core franchises that make them who they are. This is evident with the recently released Metroid Prime Trilogy which offers three highly regarded titles at the same price point as any other single Wii game making it a tremendous value.

Yes that's right, the adrenaline WILL flow.

Insomanic did a good job job of having the sometimes simplistic level design completely overshadowed by exciting gameplay and tons of humorous wit.

EA’s FIFA 10 is by far the best soccer simulation ever released on any console. The new gameplay implementations, along with improved visuals, will make any footie fan smile.

They obviously are not the most realistic graphics, having more of a fairy tale, storybook-like quality to them, but there is so much richness and detail that they really stand out.

SOTC must be played to be enjoyed to it’s fullest as the compelling storyline and moving music will instantly hook the gamer to explore it’s depths completely.

Overall the game is really an impressive feat for the PSP, with outstanding visuals coupled with an amazing soundtrack and a storyline that leaves you wanting more.

If you have even a remote interest in skateboarding, get this game.

Killzone 2 is a testament to not only the PS3, but to developers Guerilla Games who have shown they can meet the expectations put forth by the gamers, who can be quite a fickle group.

Although Halo: Reach is not perfect, it does come pretty darn close to being one of the best first person shooters ever.

One of the best space civ sims ever made.

But in the end it really is the gameplay and story that counts here, and Bioware has wonderfully combined both in such a way that any of the minor complaints can be ignored.

There is easily enough shoot em' up action to keep any shooter fan wrapped up in the gameplay. Although there is some sneaking about players who like the sneaky approach won't find too much in this game.

Whether you're a casual player or someone who is hardcore and looking to top the leaderboards, Forza 4's great controls, ton of game modes, and endless options make it a racing game that is very playable for all who take to the virtual road. Sure, it isn't perfect as I take exception to some of the AI tactics and how the force feedback through the Xbox 360 Wheel feels excessive and artificial. Despite the shortcomings though Forza 4 is the ultimate playground for car and driving aficionados.

DICE and EA have nailed it with Battlefield 2. I'm hooked, and you should be too.

The God of War Collection is really a no brainer for fans of the franchise. You can’t go wrong in picking it up and seeing all the work that been put into its HD rebirth.

Very few games offer as much as Gears of War 3 does, and even fewer manage to do it this successfully. I would say that this is easily the best Gears of War to date. Once again, Epic has successfully iterated on a series what most other developers are still desperately trying to imitate. What a fitting end to a most fantastic trilogy.

In my opinion Batman: Arkham Asylum is a landmark game based on a comic book superhero and is equivalent to what the The Dark Knight did for comic book films.

One addictive game. With a great single player experience this game gets bonus marks for a great multiplayer experience as well.

With graphics that shine and improved gameplay over the prequel this game rocks.

The graphics are superb, the sound is sharp, the campaign is engaging and the online play is great.

With awesome graphics (save the low resolution characters), original music, gameplay refined to near perfection, and all the re-playability you can handle, this adds up to the best damn fighter that Capcom has put out yet, PERIOD.

Overall, Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story is an enjoyable game and an incredibly deep one at that.

Coming off a disappointing outing last year, the EA Sports FIFA franchise has bounced back in a big way. The amped up presentation, new physics engine, new tactical defending, and other new additions make for a game that is truly better than ever. There is no question FIFA Soccer 12 is the soccer (or football for you Europeans) game to own for FIFA fans and sports fans alike this year.

Plain and simple, Black and White is the most engrossing game I've seen in a while.

Once you start this one you'll have a hard time putting it down - I found myself playing longer just to see the next weapon upgrade I'd get - it's like Christmas all over again!

Nintendo has once again done this series justice and it should make any level of gamer, from casual players to veterans of the series, satisfied that they purchased this title.

About as realistic as it gets for hockey games.

The sheer amounts of gameplay modes both in single player and in wireless multiplayer make this one of the best DS releases in sometime.

All in all, Sony's MLB franchise continues to drive out home runs year after year and this year is no exception. MLB 11: The Show remains the undisputed champion of baseball games in this next-generation era. While there is still always some room for improvement, MLB 11: The Show is about as good as it gets on the PS3.

A blend of action and stealth, "Deus Ex" brings you a great package of features and excellent replayability.

I had an extreme amount of fun playing this one... The only issue I have is the sometimes-inconsistent frame rate, especially in split screen multiplayer.

Sony’s MLB franchise continues to deliver, and as it stands it remains the undisputed champion of baseball games in this in this next-generation era with the recent release of the 09’ edition.

What more can I say, this game is amazing.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption is by far one of the most enjoyable games to grace the Nintendo Wii to date.

The graphics are unbelievable, the sound is fantastic and the game has so much replay value it just might be sitting in your N64 for months to come.

If you are looking for the next great racer then you should look no further then Forza Motorsport 2 at this current time.

The game is a near perfect expression of the 3D platform genre and its addictive gameplay will have you returning to it again and again.

With the new modes of play, stronger AI, and wicked new animations, Madden 2001 is a definite keeper and the replayability factor is top notch.

If your system has the horsepower, this game allows you to experience the current limits in 3D gaming technology.

While Fable 2 may be missing out on some of the intricacy of some RPGs and may not reward exploration and discovery as much as one might hope; it is still a rich and fulfilling experience.

Overall, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for the Xbox 360 is great bang for the buck.

Fans of RPGs will be dying (or killing) to get their hands on this exciting, involving and exceptional game, that may take your ability to speak or interact with other human beings away from you.

As a single player game there is room for improvement but overall the stellar graphics, excellent sound and added touch of the online multiplayer ability make PSO a must have for any Dreamcast owner. The Joystick is way up.

If you are glutton for punishment and are looking for a hardcore gaming experience that will test your patience and mental toughness, then Dark Souls for the Xbox 360 is for you. Dark Souls does not have any bells or whistles and is a stripped down game meant to kick the crap out of you. While the gameplay, visuals, and sound are far from perfect; Dark Souls does offer up a unique experience for many, but it is certainly not for everyone.

With great graphics, good sound and a relatively long quest, players will definitely feel as though they have been rewarded once again for purchasing a Nintendo published game.

A pretty solid game that manages to recapture some of the award winning gameplay of Homeworld, but still fails to match up with its predecessor.

Guitar Hero 5 for the Wii stands as the best instalment on Nintendo’s console to date.
