The development of the story and the game provides not only die-hard fans of the series with a new and refreshing take on the Sam Fisher story, but it also provides new players to the series a rich and extremely satisfying gameplay experience.

Not only is Project Gotham Racing 4 a driving game with great mix of arcade and simulation styles of racing, but it is a next generation racing title that also looks great, sounds good and has a solid online component as well.

That being said though, THQ is to be commended for producing such a great game that manages to improve on the original, and anyone who is slightly interested in the world of MMA should give it a try.

The graphics and overall presentation has been considerably improved.

The Sly Collection has something to offer for fans or newcomers to the series. With no new game since 2005 and nothing (yet) on PS3, this package is a great chance to revisit a really good series of games. The presentation values hold up even today. This is fantastic value for dollar. Well done.

With great graphics, great sound and a fun multiplayer game the simply titled Daxter is a hit on the PSP.

MLB 08: The Show for the PS3 is arguably the best baseball game I have played in this next-generation era of gaming.

Fight Night Champion for the Xbox 360 stands as the best installment of the franchise to date.

Street Fighter IV 3D Edition is pretty much a must have launch title for the 3DS.

The best first person shooter I've played on the XBOX to date.

Overall, Madden NFL 10 is a nice little upgrade over last year’s game. That being said, "little" is the operative word.

What sets this game apart from the rest is the variety in the gameplay, which combines RTS with shooter, as well as the fact that you get to play three distinct races, each with completely different abilities.

A very complex and fun to play strategy game, with enough modular options to keep the gameplay different each time you play it.

From the great looking graphics, solid sound, to the easy to pick up and play but practice makes perfect controls; one really can’t go wrong with this racer.

It is a game that is definitely the perfect game for any gamer in the family, from the hardcore to the most casual.

Fable is not a game to rush through, though. I can almost guarantee if you hurry through it you'll have a terrible time. Fable is a game that demands to be enjoyed and savored.

For fans of the series, and gamers on the go, Logan's Shadow is a must buy in every sense as the visuals are sharp, the sound is solid and the gameplay is a treat on the PSP.

So lock those doors, close those windows and prepare yourself for something a little more involving, and a whole lot more terrifying.

One of the deepest and enjoyable games I have played in sometime, let alone the fact that is on the GBA.

Guitar Hero 5 stands as the best instalment on the franchise to date. The new additions enhance the experience and the incredible set list makes this game a must own for fans of the franchise or even for those looking to jump into the crazy world that is Guitar Hero.

If you are a fan of the previous NBA Jam games you can download this one without hesitation but even for those new to the scene, NBA Jam: On Fire Edition is money well spent.

And even though there are some hiccups to be found (e.g. the 3D levels lack of oomph) I had a real great time playing Nintendo’s latest addition to the Mario universe.

With solid graphics, sound and story, and some darn addicting but tough puzzles, this adventure style game is great title add to your DS collection.

Control issues aside, the look and overall feel of this game is very solid.

With a great single player component and an even better multiplayer one, this game's overall score is only slightly hurt by the fact that the end of each level in single player is repetitive and the controls take some getting used too.

Mario Kart 7 offers up some StreetPass functionality this time around. You can view stranger's profiles, stats, VR rating, and even acquire ghost data for you to beat.

All-in-all, NCAA 11 delivers on so many levels and is truly an enjoyment this time around.

The biggest question on everyone’s mind at this point should be: “Is Guitar Hero: Metallica worth the $50.00+ price tag?” Simply put, if you are even a casual Metallica fan, and/or have enjoyed playing through previous instalments of the Guitar Hero franchise, then this game is right up your alley.

The story and graphics really impressed me to the point where I couldn't even sleep without dreaming about grids and battle tactics.

It would be nice if there wasn't such a heavy emphasis on menu driven gameplay, though it never gets in the way of having the best damn time of your life.

Although I was somewhat disappointed by the small leap in visual quality and the average sound effects, it was the music, the online multiplayer, the new touch screen functionality, and the usual addictiveness that drew me in to keep catching them all this time around.

Red Faction: Guerilla is a really enjoyable experience and one that gamers should not pass over during the summer months. With good graphics, good sound, and some great single and multiplayer gaming, one can’t go wrong buying this title.

The graphics are wonderful, the sounds and voice acting are perfect, and the levels are huge. It's too bad there isn't a multiplayer option, but really, the single player game should keep you going for sometime.

With solid graphics, solid sound, and some great gameplay elements (e.g. Karma Moments), Sucker Punch did Sony right by offering up a great PlayStation 3 exclusive title.

Far Cry 2 is an incredibly deep game while the online component, including the ever so popular map editor, is truly a treat.

If you are looking for a very rich, fantasy-themed MMO with a very large community behind it and an enjoyable PvP system, this is definitely the game for you. If you are looking for twitchy instant gratification, carry on... There is nothing to see here.

World at War is a terrific game and a solid addition to the Call of Duty franchise.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Chaos Rising offers quite a bit in this expansion. It is an enjoyable and action-oriented RTS style game mechanic with some RPG like elements that has a great story and enough content to keep your attention.

The single player mode is engaging and the multiplayer mode is much better than I expected. Yet at the end of the day, Crysis 2 arrives in a market saturated with shooters and I question whether it has the stamina to go the distance. Sure it's fun and has some unique elements, but sorry folks, the 'wow factor' is just not there for me. Unless you are a fan of the franchise, I recommend you rent this one first.

All of this as well as crisp, colourful graphics and clean, clear entertaining sound make it the definite BEST first person shooter to come out on PS2 so far.

This is a game best played with some form of arcade stick if you can get one.

The visuals are stellar, the sound is strong, the campaign is engaging and the online play will be a welcome breath of fresh air, especially for online hungry PS3 owners.

Starfighter has refueled the Star Wars name with hope and glory as a solid title that shows off the PS2's graphical power very nicely. In fact you'll be hard pressed to find a title currently available for the PS2 that looks this good.

This is a title that should have done a lot better in sales, but unfortunately because of the circumstances it didn't become as popular as it should have. Critical acclaim sometimes doesn't cut it, but I sure hope with an HD upgrade and being available to download will bring this great title to some more gamers to thoroughly enjoy, if not for the first time but for nostalgia's sake.

With enhanced, but somewhat dated graphics, solid sound, and some great God of War gameplay, you really can't go wrong picking this one up. The cheaper price is even more of a reason too as $40.00 isn't that bad for all the gameplay action you'll get out of it

A great update to very long running classic puzzle game.

Battlefield 3 is clearly a winner when it comes to the online first person shooter experience. The depth of unlocks and vehicles is astounding and you just can't find it anywhere else. Although the game suffers from a bland single player experience, fans of the series will be spending countless hours online trying to unlock their next weapon attachment or vehicle upgrade.

The game is well detailed, looks and sounds beautiful and is quite fun to play.

I was completely won over by the simplicity of the resource management and gameplay, and will be playing it for many months to come.

It's just really creepy. The atmosphere created by the graphics and sound In Retro Helix is incredible.

Sega GT is heavy on the racing and tuning options and will make any avid racing fan smile with glee.

All in all, MVC 3 is a highly enjoyable game with plenty of replay value. While some Capcom characters are noticeably absent from this title, the ones you do get to play with are a blast and only enhance the Marvel vs. Capcom experience.

Killzone 3 is a definite must have for the discerning PS3 owners. With great sound, great visuals, and some very solid gameplay, only the story hurts this whole experience, but all other areas manage to carry the game, including the well implemented multiplayer modes.

With original and stylistic visuals, solid sound, and very addicting gameplay, Stacking is an XBLA (or PSN) title that is worth anyone's time and money (about $15.00 or so).

This title is an excellent, almost addictive, game that will take you easily 10+ hours to complete.

Actually outshines its arcade brother in terms of gameplay, graphics and last ability.

DJ Hero is a good game. Although it lacks a story mode, or additional objectives, it makes up for these ommissions with its unique gameplay, an original turntable controller, and the wide variety of song genres included.

Bulletstorm is the equivalent of a summer time big-screen Hollywood blockbuster. Sure it is fun and features plenty of eye candy that pushes the limits of the Xbox 360's hardware, but it lacks in depth and substance.

Obsidian Entertainment and Bethesda Softworks' latest RPG managed to live up to its pedigree, and fans will most likely enjoy this game.

On the surface Saints Row: The Third may seem just like a violent, over the top video game without any substance, but that is far from the truth. I quickly found the game is not only extremely violent and insanely fun, but it also carries an interesting and fairly compelling story.

When looking at this game, you have to look at the game itself, and leave the hype behind. When you do that, you find a great sim-racing game, with an amazing amount of single player goodness and a real learning experience that most of us will never experience in real life.

Overall, Skate 2 is an upgrade over the original instalment.

Despite some technical shortcomings the game has a strong and involving storyline.

Overall, Madden NFL 11 is a great game, but compared to last year's installment I fail to see any significant leaps.

If you have played and enjoyed Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory then Quake Wars is a must buy title as it has everything Wolfenstein had and a whole bunch more.

With some great graphics and great multiplayer gameplay, Sony and Incognito have made a great successor to the PSone original.

It's a good game, with a surprising amount of content for the price, but it will definitely turn away those who don't like even cartoon gore, and leave a slightly bitter taste in even the most hardened gamer's mouth... and mind.

Overall, Child of Eden is a strong title for the Kinect. It features some unique gameplay, solid visuals, excellent sound and is a game that can be highly enjoyable in short bursts. That being said, the game is short and the absence of any multiplayer modes hurts this title somewhat. When you consider Child of Eden's price tag, it is a game that is not incredibly deep and perhaps should have been left as an Xbox Live Arcade title for the Kinect.

Vanquish is a top notch sci-fi first person shooter that has a captivating storyline that I am sure most sci-fi lovers will enjoy.

The best-looking game I have seen in a long while and it combines that with a great main character, an engaging story and fabulous locations.

I would class NHL 2K6 as more of an NHL 2K5.5, as this game does not improve on last year's version as much as I hoped.

With stylized graphics, catchy sound, and great gameplay, this game deserves a spot in any PSP owner’s library.

The only noticeable downfall to this game was that the sharpness of the PSP's screen (usually a very positive thing) overly emphasized some of the weaknesses in the graphics engine while the sound was noticeably toned down from the PS2 version.

A refreshing challenge in the genre of real-time strategy games that started with games like Warcraft, and it does its best to provide da gamer with a powerful, fully featured, intuitive control interface for commanding all those units.

By far the most enjoyable incarnation of the series, as the use of Microsoft's Xbox specific online service enhances the whole community idea thing.

Halo 3: ODST is a welcome addition to the world of Halo. With an engaging story, solid visuals, amazing sound, and addictive gameplay, it is much more then the expansion that it was originally supposed to be.

With great graphics and instant playability this game's overall score is only slightly hampered by the vehicles floaty feeling, some minor frame rate issues and a lack of racing in an online mode with other players on the same track at the same time.

If you don't mind mindless destruction (accompanied by a good Hulk story), then Ultimate Destruction will appease the rage within.

This time around the fat has been trimmed and the focus in Need for Speed: Shift is on delivering an intense, almost gritty racing experience. Shift strikes a good balance between being accessible and moving the game in a more realistic direction.

One thing is for certain, even with Madden 10 right around the corner, every football fan with an Xbox 360 should pick this one up as the college game has never been showcased in a better light.

The graphics are stylish and sharp, the sound delivers and the campaign is pretty engaging.

Considering this is the first next-generation instalment of the UFC it is likely to be a great selling franchise for THQ as UFC 09: Undisputed is truly a knock-out.

Madden NFL 09 is far from a perfect game but at the end of the day this one is the best versions in its 20 year run.

Baseball fans who own a PS2 (and a PSP for that case) can rest assured that Sony didn't rest on its laurels and put out a pretty decent baseball game.

For Rally racing fans, this is a must have. For other racing fans it is a great product to introduce you to the adrenaline pumped world of rally car racing.

Good job Nintendo, I think you've even got my wife hooked too.

With solid graphics, great sound, and some very addictive gameplay, including the multiplayer component, Resistance 3 is a great way for the PS3 to start the fall/winter season of gaming

It is cleverly crafted on what are some tried and tested ideas, mixed with a healthy dose of epic storytelling and good old fashioned gore.

On its own MLB 08: The Show is a great game but when compared to last years version it feels more like a glorified expansion pack rather then a full game that made a lot of improvements.

If you were a fan of the original Infamous, you should absolutely love Infamous 2. While it really doesn't do a lot to really push the game into new territory, it also doesn't try to fix a formula that isn't broken. Terrific presentation values, a long campaign, and tons of replayability round out a very solid title; but before you venture to New Marais just make sure to play the original game first!

DiRT is a great game and stands as arguably the best racer on the PS3 to date.

With complete single-player and multiplayer modes, it offers a wide-variety of gameplay.

With very stylish graphics, funky sound and some very addictive gameplay, this game is great as is. The addition of multiplayer only adds for a better package.

Despite starting to show signs of age, Professor Layton and The Last Specter is a tremendous value. For under $30 you get a story mode that easily lasts over 10 hours, fun mini-games, bonus content, weekly downloadable puzzles, and an all-new RPG that will keep you coming back to this one for a while.

With 18 breeds of dogs, extremely lifelike animation and a cute factor that is over the top, one cannot go wrong by giving Nintendogs a try.

With stylish graphics, amazingly addictive music, and ability to play it in short spurts, all this makes it a great game for those on the go.
