The only people that would really enjoy this are hardcore fans of the genre who want to see where it came from, or fans of the original who want it on their 3DS with a minimal 3D display.

However, Wii Karaoke U perfectly fits Nintendo's audience - it's clean, it's accessible, and it promotes fun, above all else.

It provides the full responsibilities of looking after a pet with absolutely none of the reward. Most other animal games deliver that reward through relationship building with a pet as its partner and from watching it grow, but this game completely and utterly destroys that image.

Horse Vet 3D is not bad for what it is, but for a narrow focus game, like this strives to be, it leaves a lot to be desired.

If more Batman is desired, and the new game releasing next year can't be waited for, this is an acceptable purchase.

Visuals and sound are touched up enough that it does not feel like shovelware, but it also doesn't try to be more than a typical mini-game collection.

Despite its flaws, Master Reboot is a solid title and a welcome addition to the Wii U's horror library -- a genre which is lacking on the platform.

Considering just how many variations of games can be played in darts, the modes on offer in Darts Up is pretty shameful, with no saving of scores aside from Arcade online rankings, no replay value of any kind, and a rushed and subpar presentation overall.

I've Got to Run! missed out on being a unique experience on the Wii U, and instead turned out to be a poor excuse of a game.

The handheld debut of Super Smash Bros. is a successful one that stands proud alongside its predecessors on home consoles and is a must-have for Nintendo 3DS owners, with combat that feels more refined than Super Smash Bros. Brawl and can be enjoyed by casual and dedicated players alike.

From the great use of the source material, to the excellent visual and audio rendition of the universe of the The Walking Dead: Season One in a pinball machine, The Walking Dead Pinball is a lot of fun, and not just for pinball aficionados; it should also usher in fans of The Walking Dead, whether it be the TV series, the comic or Telltale Games' own take on the franchise.

Cubemen 2 is fun, but it's short-lived. The gameplay is relatively shallow (by necessity of the genre more than anything else) and there's little to do once the single-player campaigns are finished, which doesn't take very long.

Nothing is interesting about it. Just skip and ignore this blatant cash grab, unless there is a dire need to play Flappy Bird on the Wii U.

Over 25 years of history is crammed into Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, and it is a marked improvement over the first game.

Squids Odyssey's only limit - granted, it's quite a relative one - seems to reside in its very nature: on the one hand, it's a clever game that efficiently combines different gameplay solutions and succeeds to provide a deeper and more rewarding experience, compared to other epitomes in the same genre; on the other one, it doesn't even try to appeal who is not an educated fan already.

Hyrule Warriors is an outstanding crossover of The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors with addictive gameplay, a slick presentation, and a lot of content.

However, although the price is a problem, the game itself lacks any kind of major flaw, and for that reason 2048's score falls squarely in the middle.

Minor annoyances - more noticeable after four ports of the game - prevent the game from ever reaching indie perfection, but this is an experience not to be missed.

Light on content and presentation, Shut the Box is a hard recommendation for any gamer. Cheap graphics and sound sully the experience.

For the right customer, Spin the Bottle: Bumpie's Party will be a lot of fun. For people who want a substantial videogame, though, save the money.

Ice Cream Surfer is a reasonably fun little timewaster, and at a time where shoot 'em ups are fewer and further between, some diehard shooter fans might feel like this is worth a punt.

There's no doubt that European Conqueror 3D is a fun title that provides value for money, even if the lack of multiplayer is a surprising omission.

With too few unique features to recommend against its contemporaries, along with control issues, difficulty problems, and a frankly boring, bland and uninspired design, this is a game best left only to shoot 'em up devotees who have exhausted the Wii U's representation of the genre.

With no online multiplayer and its very flimsy Grand Prix tour, there is no way Family Kart 3D could ever strive for Mario Kart 7's throne, but in all honesty it doesn't even seem to aim so high. It's a little, flippant alternative to the more eminent Nintendo hit, and indeed a solid and enjoyable diversion for any kart racing fan out there.

Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is a well put together piece of software with a great attention to little details, set in a universe of folklore and culture which is exotic enough in the video game industry to feel highly original, and with a huge deal of humour thrown into the mix for good measure.
