Metal Wolf Chaos XD is the definition of a cult classic video game. While nothing the game does could ever be considered truly exceptional or innovative, somehow all of its absurd elements have combined to create something truly memorable.

PC players craving a bit of horror during the Summer can’t go wrong with Silver Chains, that is, as long as they’re okay with something that ultimately comes as feeling a little familiar.

I was pleasantly surprised by Mario Party 10. I expected another disaster after learning of its similarities to 9, however they have added enough to make 10 rather enjoyable even through the Bowser love.

Marvel's Deadpool VR is a surprisingly faithful interpretation of the character in a game that feels fun to play while offering enough variety to keep players engaged for its 8-10 hour run.

Doom Eternal rips & tears up its quality for worse on Nintendo Switch, but grants an incredible wish by letting players take the highly addictive FPS anywhere.

Ultimately a worthwhile recommendation for horror fans thanks to its original concept, likable protagonist, and some genuinely chilling frights.

Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta is a solid but somewhat bland port of a classic JRPG that feels right at home on the Nintendo Switch, warts and all.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is an okay spin-off of the Yakuza series. The story is fine, but my biggest issue is that it doesn’t really feel inventive, which is usually what Yakuza and Like a Dragon games have in spades.

Although the two-dimentional visuals in Zwei: The Arges Adventure differentiate itself from its sequel, the game retains a lot of the depth and plot that made the other so good.

Dungeon crawling fans, especially on the Vita, don’t have a lot of options, so it’s good thing that Operation Abyss has it where it counts. It’s a budget title, and it shows and feels that way in many respects, but it also has deep RPG systems and a challenging level of difficulty for those that are tired of being coddled.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the most refreshing and tactically immersive entries in the franchise to date, but the current state of some multiplayer components at launch and a deeply disappointing co-op mode drags down an otherwise fantastic FPS.

Gears of War: Reloaded is a great way to experience the original Gears game with a friend if neither of you has played it before. Otherwise, it is notable to see a flagship Xbox title on PlayStation, but the gameplay feels especially clunky in 2025.

While Dungeons 2 doesn’t offer anything groundbreaking in the world of RTS games, managing two different gameplay areas can be both challenging and fun.. It plays similarly to classics like Dungeon Keeper, and some of its forced humour and boring plot could definitely use a bit of work. But those looking for an old-school experience with some modern changes, look no further.

Strife Veterans Editon is a great addition to the Switch’s library of classic releases. Although it might not live up to the likes of Skyrim or any other contemporary RPG, the title still holds up surprisingly well for a 1996 game that utilized the Doom engine.

There isn’t a whole lot of depth to Titan Souls, but if you’re in the mood for a game that doesn’t require a whole lot of commitment or countless hours of micromanaging and leveling, yet still requires quick-thinking and a mastery of what at first appear to be simple and limited skills with an added splash of 16-bit era style, this is the game for you.
