By the end arcade sequences get a bit tedious but tactical manoeuvres are still fun. It might not be for everyone but I did go down with the ‘one more round’ syndrome. [CD-Action 04/2013, p.76]- CD-Action

Will the thrill provided by permadeath be enough to keep people playing this new Wizardry that is not really a Wizardry? [CD-Action 04/2013, p.72]- CD-Action

Revengeance has moments worth 90/100 but it is surprisingly short and rather shallow. Apparently turbulence during the development process forced the team to make some cutbacks. [CD-Action 04/2013, p.70]- CD-Action

A great horror game was turned into a decent co-op shooter. Dead Space 3 is well-made but the uniqueness of the series is gone. Was that really the goal? [CD-Action 04/2013, p.66]- CD-Action

Neither minor bugs nor some questionable ideas change the fact that one thing was recreated perfectly in new SimCity – the addictive quality this series is known for. [CD-Action 04/2013, p.60]- CD-Action

I was really impressed with gameplay variety squeezed into Thieves in Time. It’s a long and well-designed game for kids really worth the money – and that doesn’t happen very often. [CD-Action 04/2013, p.58]- CD-Action

The new Tomb Raider is not as revolutionary as the original from 1996 but this reboot is the most mature, interesting and friendly entry to the series. For me it is Uncharted on steroids, a game that’s better in every aspect than Nathan Drake’s adventures. [CD-Action 04/2013, p.52]- CD-Action

There’s no story here and the game depletes its potential quickly, so after few sips of Mediterranean decadence comes boredom. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.75]- CD-Action

Rise of the Guardians offers a 4 player co-op mode, so it’s a good idea for masochists’ get-togethers. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.70]- CD-Action

Arctic Combat is not dripping with content and it’s crystal clear Webzen has no grasp of the nature of Call of Duty’s success. Their game is just average but can be entertaining at times. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.67]- CD-Action

A beautiful homage to Grim Fandango. Not perfect though – Chapter One is short, could be funnier and the choice of some of the voices is questionable. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.66]- CD-Action

An interesting idea – a 3D brawler focused on multiplayer. The combat system seems simple but offers quite a bit of depth. Unfortunately it is hard to find people to play with over the Internet and the single player mode is dull as hell. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.64]- CD-Action

A good game to play with your kid – it’s designed for co-op and visuals are doing great job of referring to the Cartoon Network show. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.61]- CD-Action

Although first impressions are good, it soon becomes obvious that the ‘simulation’ is shallow, there’s too much chaos and the mech controls are not intuitive. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.60]- CD-Action

Aliens in Colonial Marines fail to scare you. Instead they make you laugh at their awkwardness and grotesque animations. The whole game is riddled with bugs and I honestly can’t remember any title with dumber AI controlled squad members. Sadly it seems that Gearbox is unable to make an ordinary first person shooters any more. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.54]- CD-Action

This is not only Crytek's best work and the most beautiful PC title to date but also a wonderful good-bye to the current generation of platforms. Crysis finally found its place among Call of Duty, Battlefield and Halo, taking some of their best bits but at the same time remaining distinct enough to be worth your time. You should definitely at least see it. [CD-Action 03/2013, p.44]- CD-Action
