The visuals are bright and colorful, the controls are simple, and overall, the game is just enough fun to spend a rainy weekend with.

One major flaw slows the game down from taking the PSP checkered flag by itself. The flaw I am speaking of is a disappointing lack of course variety.

It’s sad that Sega couldn’t just leave the classic 2D graphics intact and I wish they wouldn’t have trashed "Golden Axe" so viciously, but above any of its problems Sega Classics Collection is a fun throwback title that retro game collectors and Sega fans shouldn’t pass up.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d choose real-time play over card battles any day, but that doesn’t change the fact that Acid is a unique, strategic approach to the Metal Gear universe, with enough depth to keep you coming back for more.

The dangerously addictive gameplay and numerous game modes will ensure that once you start playing you won’t be able to put your PSP down for a great while. Short 10-minute game quickies will rapidly turn into about three or four hour sessions, and then when you finally stop playing you will instantly begin to crave it all over again.

Its fairly generic plot, slim character class choices, and long loading times mean Untold Legends isn’t perfect, but when you consider that you’re playing a game with visual quality that’s previously only been seen on computer screens or a nice high-definition TV, the game is well worth a purchase.

Pick it up for the kids, but don’t be surprised if you end up playing it yourself (paranoia or not).

A slew of problems hold NARC back from being the anticipated game many expected, and personally, I'll blame VIS for it. The gameplay relies too heavily on something like "State of Emergency," and it just isn't fun.

It is by no means a replacement for any of the current high profile racers, and staunch simulation fans will surely laugh at the wonky physics and weak driver AI, but for the affordable budget price you really can't go wrong by snagging a copy of Ford Racing 3.

Warts and all, once you start playing the game you'll forgive most of its problems just to see what comes next.

This is one of those budget games that will make pretty much anyone that remembers any of these machines smile and dive in for a few hours at a time, while the rest of you shrug and go back to that "Halo 2" deathmatch.

All 989 needs to do is tweak the shooting system to add more shot variety and more sensible timing for players seeking realism, tighten up the sound department a bit, and add a more robust multiplayer mode.

The lack of any sort of on-line mode hurts the multiplayer game in terms of reaching a larger audience, but once you nail the new game mechanics, there’s definite fun to be had for up to four players.

At first, the new slower pacing and heavier focus on repetitive hack-n-slash gameplay will likely disappoint diehard fans of the original, however once you work yourself into it and get over the fact that it’s not the same game, there’s definitely a solid action-RPG experience to take in and enjoy.

I can't believe that Phantom Dust retails for only twenty bucks. Considering all it packs in and the workout your brain and fingers get, this is one of the best values in gaming this year, hands down.

Arrests are fun for about two levels, and then you notice the same few sayings keep repeating when you slap the cuffs on perps.
