The extreme difficulty level will turn off most casual gamers and the camera system needs a little tweaking, but the environments are huge and varied and the combat system keeps things fresh. Ryu is one of the most impressive, easy to control and well designed characters to ever grace a videogame.

You haters can go cuddle with your worn-out videotapes and skippy DVDs in the corner. You’re missing out on the best 3D game featuring a martial arts star to date.

Not only will you curse, but as the game progresses, you’ll get exceedingly violent towards your controller. Bosses are especially tough, often requiring the player to dash in for a quick hit, then dash out for an even quicker retreat.

The Shadow Pokemon system is one of the game’s biggest detractors, but even so, those who are acquainted with the series may want to give this one a shot.

The new areas are some of the most challenging in the Metroid series, and although it does get easy the more you practice, it will take some time getting use to.

The game's single player mode is void of any real entertainment values.

Personally, I can't wait to see what comes next for the franchise, and who gets the task of expanding the game's particularly engrossing worlds.

This is one of those games where you really want to see a sequel come out with a lot more depth and perhaps a different gameplay viewpoint.

The game is easy to pick up and great for 2-on-2 action, making it one of the best party titles out there.

Street has surprising depth for an arcade football title, I enjoyed it more than I have any of the "Blitz" games, but it is a multiplayer title at heart and still comes up a little short in the single player experience.

As you're playing through the game, you'll clearly see that the developers have created one of those memorable virtual worlds where you can spend many hours exploring each and every crevice as you try to solve all the riddles Arx has to offer.

Action wise it gets a bit repetitive, so if you’re only in it for the body count, this is a rental. If you like your video games like you like your novels, however, then this is a must buy.

I am convinced that eventually, somewhere in the world, Mario Party 5 will provide proof that a person can die from boredom while playing a video game. The single player mode has essentially no value.

There's so much depth to be found here that to pass it up because it's not pushing the latest graphics technology would be foolish. Technical issues aside, you'll not find a more impressive game world on a home console offline RPG, period.
