This is one of those budget games that will make pretty much anyone that remembers any of these machines smile and dive in for a few hours at a time, while the rest of you shrug and go back to that "Halo 2" deathmatch.
-
The game clocks in at only $20. That really is not bad for a game like this. I used to enjoy pinball when I was a child. And going back to something like this really brought back memories.
-
Pinball Hall of Fame looks good, controls well, and should be a no-brainer as an addition to your library if you're a fan of simulated pinball.
-
The physics feel a little wonky, mainly due to the ball's lack of weight, but it gets the job done in the end.
-
Nintendo PowerRealistic art (down to glare off the glass), great sound effects and responsive control add up to a solid game. [March 2005, p.107]
