After playing through it twice from start to the insanely rough final level, I truly had more pure fun with Raze's Hell's single player game than I did with "Halo 2" or "Doom 3."

Hands-down, one of the best games I've played, period, and I've been gaming for over 30 years. Whether Raz is going at it with a masked wrestler or stomping down the streets of a mental city at 50 stories tall, there's nothing out there like this.

The split screen action is worth keeping the game around for a rainy day, and the time attacks kept me addicted for hours.

The initially daunting learning curve makes the first few tries frustrating even for experts weaned on the other games in the series, but the game is eventually manageable and the multiplayer saves it altogether from becoming a “play it once- trade it in” title.

I want to have fun when playing a game and that’s just what First to Fight delivers: an action-packed FPS with all the adrenaline-pumping intensity you can ask for.

Many of you will undoubtedly find Dead to Rights II too unoriginal and repetitive to give a chance, but from my perspective this game is a great rental experience worth checking out on a rainy weekend.

More of an inside the park home run than a blast out of the park, but still, it’s the one to beat next season.

Officially the king of the street racer gaming scene. No other title out there delivers this much speed, customization, or outright fun at all.

If you’re tired of watching the same aerobic videos over and over, or need some motivation to get in shape, give Yourself!Fitness a try and actually use your console (or PC) as a path to a healthier lifestyle.

I wish there was more gameplay variety and a few more modes thrown into the mix, but for 30 bucks you'll be getting more than your money's worth.

It doesn’t stray too far off the survival horror beaten path, but Obscure is a great game that already has us thinking ’sleeper hit of the year’.

Like "Lumines," it’s a classy-looking, addictive, and highly challenging game. But your cerebral activity is guaranteed a tougher workout with this one.

The realistic and methodical pace to the gameplay will likely put off twitch gamers craving the next Unreal Tournament, but anyone who enjoys a good, tension-packed tactical shooter will get their money’s worth and more in this game.

The best current-gen console RPG to date, no ifs ands or buts about it.

Rise of the Kasai is good… but not spectacular overall, with most of its appeal leaning more toward fans of its artistic and esoteric merits than to those straight up action-mad game blasters out there looking for everything to be as good as the best game they played.

Most interestingly, the game will appeal to both kids and adults, as its simple pick-up-and-play action is accessible to almost anyone of any age.

Look, kids- if Spikeout were a movie, the year would be 1987, Michael Dudikoff and Caroline Munro would star in it, Richard Lynch or Henry Silva would be the main bad guy, it would run on cable six times a month, and you'd be glued to the tube every single time it came on just for the action scenes and ridiculous ending.

A slew of problems hold NARC back from being the anticipated game many expected, and personally, I’ll blame VIS for it. The gameplay relies too heavily on something like "State of Emergency," and it just isn’t fun.

With its repetitive gameplay, terrible A.I., painful slowdown, frequent load times, and clichéd storyline, I honestly have no explanation for why the game can still be fun to play, but it can.

It is by no means a replacement for any of the current high profile racers, and staunch simulation fans will surely laugh at the wonky physics and weak driver AI, but for the affordable budget price you really can’t go wrong by snagging a copy of Ford Racing 3.
