Although the latest entry in the Call of Cthulhu universe is not a perfect one, every little bit of it stays true to the H.P Lovecraft stories, and that’s the most important thing for the fans of the series.

Ghostwire: Tokyo is neither a failure nor a huge success, as it fails to offer anything new in terms of story telling, gameplay or world design, but it can still be an entertaining action adventure.

Soul Hackers 2 does not revolutionize the JRPG genre and probably can't even compete with the top tier JRPG games, but it gets all the basics of the genre right and thanks to its solid combat system and appealing story and characters, can actually be very entertaining.

While South of Midnight pioneers in its narrative, art design, and the seamless incorporation of social challenges into its world, its gameplay, though not flawed, treads familiar ground without introducing anything new.

Even 8 years after its initial release, This War of Mine is still a worthy survival game that shows us how cruel wars can be, and considering what is going on in the world right now, there can't be a better time to play it.

Beyond the Steel Sky is full of big and small issues. From the fact that it took 28 years for it to come back, to its gameplay getting repetitive, to somehow ugly character designs and of course tons of bugs; but there is another fact here that no matter how many problems and no matter how big or small they are, it's very hard no to fall in love with it. Beyond the Steel Sky may not be a big budget AAA game that meets the standards of the industry these days, but it is a beautiful, fun and deep journey that takes you back to the good old days when gaming was just about gaming.

Stranger Things 3: The Game is an entertaining experience, especially for the fans of the TV Show, and while the first half of it is kind of boring and repetitive, it'll recover in the second half with some good Beat'em Up gameplay.

After so many years, Crytek have finally managed to present the Crysis series on consoles in an appropriate way and as close as possible to the PC experience, but be warned that the dated AI and level design take some of its former glory away.

Switching from 2D perspective to 3D doesn't affect Disgaea 6 that much, as it pretty much feels the same and it can be both good and bad. Good for the original fans of the series but bad as it shows lack of development throughout the years.

The fall section of Metro Exodus is exactly how the rest of the game should have been. The wide linear structure of this section provides great tempo and an overall open-ended experience, while the linear and semi open world sections fail to deliver. It is very surprising that the developers didn't learn from Kshatriya DLC and other big franchises that went open world and failed.

Shadow Man Remastered is one of the best remastered titles in the recent years, as it stays as loyal as possible to the original game, while adding some great new touches here and there. But despite all the efforts from developers Nightdive, the core gameplay mechanisms still look too old to attract new generation gamers, leaving the game most appealing to the older fans of the series or Metroidvania lovers in general.

Giga Wrecker Alt is neither revolutionary nor without issues, and in fact is suffering from some obvious problems, but at the same time it offers a challenging and entertaining experience mixed with great story and interesting characters. With Giga Wrecker Alt, Game Freak showed that one of the most important things is to believe in your team, and to give them time and space to develop their ideas.
