Bloodroots is a very simple, low profile, low budget game with a strong spine. Another one of those titles that proves that you don't have to throw money at a development project to make it successful.

While Namco Bandai has not released a real 8th generation title in the Tales series yet, the new ported version of Tales of Vesperia feels like a solid JRPG that can easily be compared with current 8th generation titles. If you are a fan of JRPGs and for some reason had no chance to grab it back in 2008, now is the time for you to experience one of the best entries in the Tales series and one of the best JRPGs ever.

Years after the release of the first Ninja Gaiden game, it's core gameplay mechanisms and level design still seem fresh and satisfying. The Master Collection puts together Sigma, Sigma 2 and Razor's Edge games in a thrilling Hack and Slash package that the fans of the genre just can't miss. Ryu Hayabusa is back; fast as a lightning bolt and sharp as a dagger.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is the most real football simulator currently available on the market, and it offers a great football experience to both hardcore and arcade players. Nevertheless, the same old problems and issues such as teams and players licenses kick back in and prevent PES2019 from becoming the most complete football simulator too.

As an adventure game Roki doesn't have much repeatability values, and some modern gamers might ignore it due to its 20$ price tag, but if you are willing to spend around 10 hours solving puzzles and stuff, Roki is probably a very good option for you.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter’s too much focus on story telling might prevent it from offering a true adventure experience, but nevertheless the story, atmosphere and world design is so solid that you’ll just love it.

Although Before the Storm is not developed by Dontnod, it feels exactly like Life is Strange; specially in terms of story-telling. Deck Nine did a great job in picking up all of the great things about LIS and if you are a fan of the original game, you’ll feel right at home here.

With massive changes and a wealth of new ideas, Civilization VII appears to be steering the series in a bold new direction. While some hardcore fans may not embrace all the changes, the core gameplay remains intact. However, the overall package could have benefited from a few final refinements.

The fact that Thymesia is developed by a very small group of people with a very limited budget and in a very challenging genre, earns them enough credit to give their game a try and set them up for their future projects.

The Radical Dreamers Edition is not the best remaster that Chrono Cross could have received, but nevertheless being able to try one of the most important JRPG titles of all time in a better form and on modern platforms is something that the fans of the genre would definitely enjoy.

Jagged Alliance: Rage is yet another release that uses the Jagged Alliance name but fails to deliver. The turn-based gameplay and the survival elements are good enough, but in other areas there are tons of shortcomings that not only disappoints the old fans of the series but also fails to ward off competition from other turn-based titles available on the market.

As an AA title, The Last Case of Benedict Fox offers a lot of value, and its inclusion in Microsoft Game Pass makes it available to a wider range of audience. It may not revolutionize the Metroidvania genre, but creates a lot of potential for future games to take advantage of.

Whether you are a fan of the Yakuza series or you are really into Samurais, Like a Dragon: Ishin! won't disappoint you. It might not be a perfect remake and some gameplay mechanisms, especially the gunplay could have been better, but it offers enough action to satisfy anyone obsessed with the far east.

The Hong Kong Massacre has nothing new to offer, the levels are linear and the boss fights are repetitive, and the story is not appealing either. All that said, it is still a very fun game that can even be addictive if you take it seriously.

Over a decade after the last mainline entry, Ninja Gaiden returns, this time infused with PlatinumGames’ unmistakable style. The result is a game packed with fast-paced, over-the-top action that’s undeniably fun, but it often feels more like Bayonetta than Ninja Gaiden. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though it might not be exactly what longtime fans were hoping for. Oh, and yes, the camera issues are still hanging around!.

Just Dance 2019 might not be considered as a video game by a great many, but in a friends gathering or a family reunion, one the most fun things to do is playing Just Dance. Due to weak controls and lack of any tutorial, Just Dance can never be a good dance teacher, but if you are professional dancer, then it is the real deal for you.

ELEX II is a good example of being in the right place but at the wrong time. It’s a great action role playing with some killer gameplay mechanisms and quest designs, but it just can’t compete at the moment, and thus not getting the attention it deserves.

This latest episode is very fun to play, especially now that it makes a lot more sense after the first three episodes. Maybe the gameplay is not challenging enough for a point and click adventure, but the engaging story and the way the developers are telling it, gives you enough reasons to try it out.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse seems like a masterpiece that should have released 2 or 3 generations ago, as its visuals are dated and its control mechanisms is something that we don’t see anymore these days. But on the plus side it offers a mysterious world and atmosphere, a great sense of fear and a solid story. Just the like the old days.

Judging SLEEP AWAKE mainly comes down to what you expect from it. Those searching for a horror action game built around complex mechanics, demanding combat, or deep stealth systems are likely to be left unsatisfied. SLEEP AWAKE is not interested in traditional gameplay conventions; instead, it positions itself as an interactive experience—one that prioritizes atmosphere and audiovisual expression over mechanical depth.

Atelier Ryza 2 doesn't have the perfect rhythm, but is almost exactly what you'd expect from a game in Atelier series, and a JRPG in general. Atelier Ryza 2 builds on the series core elements and improves them at the same time, and is a great choice for both the fans of the series and the fans of JRPG genre.

Heading Out feels like a vast ocean that is only an inch deep, introducing tons of exciting gameplay elements without developing them enough. It's still a decent game and offers a lot of quality when it comes to art design and story telling, but eventually fails to live up to its massive potential.
