Wanted: Dead may not hit the mark in every area, but it still serrates the cut between hybrid slasher/shooter gameplay perfectly and I knew that it would be revisited by me for a long time to come even after the credits had rolled.- Attack of the Fanboy

The idea of Avatar being mixed into this formula is great, and when you're flying on your ikran, it's an intoxicating experience, even if aspects of the combat and game stability leave something to be desired.- Attack of the Fanboy

As a shooter Rage 2 is incredible. It's everything around that core competency that brings the game down. A lack of narrative, world building, and questionable design decisions in terms of progression leave the experience feeling flat.- Attack of the Fanboy

Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure takes a sport that few get the opportunity to play anymore and infuses it with a more action oriented approach that surprisingly works quite well.- Attack of the Fanboy

Match Three with an element of strategy simply isn't done any better, but this one is having a hard time shaking its free-to-play roots.- Attack of the Fanboy

With it's disquieting atmosphere and horror-fueled setting, Death end re;Quest is one of Compile Heart's most intriguing titles to date. However, much like other entries under the Galapagos RPG brand, it occasionally feels like the core gameplay plays second fiddle to everything else.- Attack of the Fanboy

We Happy Few is a game of high highs and low lows. It's certainly far from perfect, with questionable stealth mechanics, sometimes derivative gameplay, and a lack of polish that intrudes on the fun. However, it also offers a totally unique world full of interesting characters and places.- Attack of the Fanboy

It may not be a big change on a fundamental level, but Samurai Warriors 4: Empires does enough differently to warrant fans to come back for another round of hack ‘n’ slash fun.- Attack of the Fanboy

This high stakes laser light show by no means is perfect, but it is a blast and one hell of a way to kill an evening online or locally.- Attack of the Fanboy

Titan Souls strips out all of the bloat of contemporary action games, and boils things down to what should be the best bits. Though it might be a little too condensed for its own good.- Attack of the Fanboy

Don't Starve: Giant Edition could have been the best version of the game yet. Unfortunately a lack of true Gamepad support simply makes it another flawed but enjoyable survival experience.- Attack of the Fanboy

Quantum Break has all the things we ask for from a video game and some things that we don't. Great gameplay, impressive graphics and presentation, and an amazing story are all state of the industry from Remedy. I just wonder what this game might have been if the game aspect of it had been fleshed out just a little bit more.- Attack of the Fanboy

The Order: 1886 is a great game, as long as you treat it as a mindless shooter and not the bevy of innovation we were all led to believe it was. Graphically appealing, the title shows us once again, we should not judge a book by its cover.- Attack of the Fanboy

When you do have a team where everyone knows their roles and works together, then it can be a lot of fun. Battleborn is a well-oiled machine with the potential for some great times to be had, but sometimes getting to those great times can take some patience.- Attack of the Fanboy

With all the added Pokemon that were previously missing and the fact it's just more Sword and Shield to enjoy, The Isle of Armor is definitely worth getting, but it's best not to have the highest of expectations going in regardless due to the major flaws that hold it back from being great.- Attack of the Fanboy

Exoprimal has fantastic PvE content and an intriguing story, but its focus on competitive modes hurts its attractiveness to newcomers, and its lack of offline capabilities might eventually kill the game entirely. It has the potential to be so much more, but such a high-profile title shouldn't have to rely on potential alone. Capcom should take steps to ensure more players can enjoy Exoprimal to its fullest — and to ensure all players won't be left without a game to enjoy after its services end.- Attack of the Fanboy

Featuring two very good games and one fairly mediocre game in one package, Ninja Gaiden Master Collection is well worth trying out, whether you missed out in the past or just want to slash up some enemies as Ryu Hayabusa all over again.- Attack of the Fanboy

Beneath a brash exterior of dated ‘attitude’ and unwelcoming presentation lies a finely tuned jet engine of a shooter, that has the technical chops to distinguish itself in a crowded and fickle genre.- Attack of the Fanboy

A few missteps along the way, combined with the technical problems that the developer has become infamous for, make for an overall less enjoyable experience than episodes past. Still, this is certainly one of the best narrative driven games available, and the finale is looking like it will easily cement this reputation.- Attack of the Fanboy

When playing Fae Farm solo, it's a fun story in a cute world filled with magic and connections. There are a lot of moving parts, but I think they do a good job of easing into them. It does leave a little desire for more clothing and hair customizations and playing multiplayer means starting a whole new world. But overall, it was definitely worth playing and something I'll pick up again.- Attack of the Fanboy

The cooking battles across both Story and Arcade modes are a lot of fun, though the repetition can leave a sour taste after awhile. However, the simplistic gameplay and portable nature of the game allows players to pick this fast food up in the future to avoid any form of boredom in one sitting.- Attack of the Fanboy

Fallout 4 is set to have a ton of great DLC, and Automatron is a good, if not perfect start. Building your own robot is fun, and leads to tons of hours of scavenging and collecting. The quest is also much longer than expected, though it does begin to feel stale after a while. Overall, this is a good start to what could become a great suite of DLC.- Attack of the Fanboy

With some dated design choices that hold it back from being the best that it could be, it may not be everyone's cup of tea. But, for those that have been waiting, this is like the ultimate form of comfort food, getting something that they love, to bring them back to a specific time and place that gives them their best memories.- Attack of the Fanboy

White Night is a pretty well crafted survival horror game. You’ll get scared. Unfortunately for it, a few niggling mechanical issues linger through to the released version of the game and dampens the experience somewhat. Otherwise, it is a thoroughly enjoyable game, at a very minimal cost, for fans of the genre.- Attack of the Fanboy

WWE 2K16 is an improvement over WWE 2K15 by adding many of the lost features missing from last year's game. However, it is far from a flawless video game. It is a step in the right direction so hopefully everything turns out perfectly in WWE 2K17.- Attack of the Fanboy

Gravity Rush Remastered is a great upgrade from the PS Vita original thanks to a solid 60fps 1080p presentation. The joy of exploring the world of Hekseville is still very much intact, with the gravity shifting ability once again acting as the main source of fun and enjoyment. However, the boring missions combine with poor combat mechanics to make for a lesser experience than the concept deserves.- Attack of the Fanboy
