Valkyria Revolution is not a bad game by any means, but fails big when trying to reflect the essence of the Valkyria Chronicles series in a genre that doesn't suit it at all like Action. Yeah, it offers a functional gameplay and interesting strategy mechanics, but in the end none of them work that well nor capture the magic that made the original Chronicles trilogy become a cult among gamers.

What I'm trying to say is that if you have the slightest interest in all the technical aspects of how a modern video game console works, you should have this software among your priorities. The same is true if you're especially enthusiastic about everything related to Nintendo itself.

Everybody 1-2-Switch! It's a game that can be entertaining but not for long, and that's precisely due to the small number of mini-games that it brings with it, being easily surpassed by the previous installment. In fact, the possibilities for something ambitious were right there, but they weren't properly harnessed.

Redfall was conceived with a bunch of promises around it, but the real vampiric apocalypse is that it couldn't hold up against any of those. Looking like a last gen game with loading textures and an incredibly dumb AI. This game looks more like a concept or an alpha version than a Microsoft Game Studios final product.

It is a pity to say that the great foundations of the series are there, but in the end, they have been completely overshadowed by the problems that I mention and of course, by experiments that in theory sounded like great ideas but in practice, are lacking. We can already dub Fallout 76 as the big disappointment of 2018.

Space Jam: A New Legacy - The Game is a very, very simple beat'em up that doesn't offer something new and if it weren't for the fact that it's free, it wouldn't be worth.

The big problem with Mighty No. 9 was being overrated by consumers and even by its creator. The game fulfills its objectives halfway because, despite its very bad presentation and technical problems, it is faithful to the promise to give us a challenging and fun challenge that will be loved by old school gamers.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle is a game charged by great nostalgic moments and fan service, but its bad game mechanics and poor level design makes it a forgettable experience.

Although die-hard fans of the franchises could find it somewhat entertaining, Digimon All-Star Rumble fails so hard in becoming an enjoyable option in brawler games, even more when there are better options out there.

Homefront: The Revolution is a generic and repetitive open world shooter with some good ideas but poor technical performance. It feels good but not optimal, and even it reflects the guerrilla feeling in a positive, way we cannot forget all the annoying technical issues.

SNK could well have created a sequel to Metal Slug Attack that would be able to work in today's market and keep us entertained as Metal Slug Tactics arrives. Instead, Metal Slug Attack Reloaded is a waste of time that, while it can be entertaining at times, is something that quickly loses the player's attention. The story is non-existent, and the focus on original characters takes away from the protagonists we all know and love.

Great concept and intentions. Poor execution and Interface. Not the best survival game available. Only for fans of the survival games.

Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is not a bad game; however, it's really far from becoming the game that the fans could wish for. It's really easy to learn the basic controls, and the movement mechanics is really something else, but apart from that it becomes so repetitive and lacks any really replay value.

Animal Crossing Amiibo Party is not the game that the franchise deserves but some of its minigames have interesting but unexploded mechanics. The presentation and soundtrack are charming but it only makes us wish for a complete game of the series on Wii U. Not everything was bad in my experience but Nintendo could definitely make a better game.

The first 15 minutes looked promising with an interesting combat system sealed by the Platinum Games experience, the rest of the game is half cooked with random, repetitive and boring elements that leaves this new Turtle’s adventure as a game that you will not have to play.

If there's a game that fits perfectly as a kusoge (the term that Japanese gamers use for terrible games), Devil's Third is definitely one of a kind. Itagaki's experiment is a total failure in all of game's aspects: bad gameplay mechanics, terrible narrative and poor graphics make this title something to avoid.

Once again, Square Enix fails miserably with another one of these infamous games as a service. Babylon's Fall feels like it was just made as a quick and easy cash grab, and even PlatinumGames's incredible talent isn't enough to save this train-wreck.

Balan Wonderworld feels like a platformer game from 20 years ago, with outdated mechanics, controls and a horrible costume mechanic which locks the player out of many collectibles way too soon.

I can't deny that I had a blast with Godzilla. Seeing my favorite monsters and controlling them to defend or invade cities gave me nothing but smiles as a fan of the franchise. However, it is impossible to ignore the lack in the technical aspect, summed up to the awkwardness in the controls.

Fast & Furious Crossroads is one of the worst games I've played this year and possibly the worst game of the generation. Even if you are a fan of the movie franchise, you should definitely stay away from this awful experience.

This episode shows the potential of the full game in the terms of its narrative and progression. Gameplay and challenges vary significantly and offer a wider set of choices to fulfill every mission. Raid Mode is still the most rewarding experience, with countless hours of content and daily missions that keep you coming back over and over.

With a complete Season Mode and full NBA and Euroleague rosters, NBA 2K16 is better than previous versions of the game, unfortunately, it's imprecise controls show that mobile platforms maybe are not the best place to enjoy this kind of game.

This brutally honest tribute to the 1983 classic will find it's way into peoples hearts through the control scheme, which won't be appreciated by people who never touched a NES or any other classic console. It is visually charming and it offers a deep customisation system, but it is better to treat it carefully and just visit in short game sessions.

Murasaki Mist is a great example of how an indie game can turn into a terrible experience because of the poor attention the developers put into their projects when trying to add as much as possible in it. Yes, it has a great concept and creative elements that could have made of it something enjoyable. However this doesn’t help at all when all and every aspect of it has great mistakes and is not worked or developed in the way that it should be.
