Marathon is a difficult game to recommend. It's undeniable that Bungie has done a great job with this title, but it's not an experience for everyone. The gameplay is too aggressive for a large portion of the audience, and even those initially interested may be discouraged by the steep learning curve. It remains to be seen whether this game has what it takes to survive this challenging period for games as a service, but if anyone can make it happen, it's Bungie.

Even right now Heavy Rain doesn't look as technically impressive as the original game when we played it six years ago, the legacy of the game is still here. Heavy Rain is a good thriller that defines David Cage's interactive drama and now can be played by new PlayStation users on PS4.

Leaving aside the fact that its a reboot from the series, Soulcalibur VI is a great fighting game that retains most of the elements that have made the franchise one of the best among the genre. Yes, it doesn't add many novelties to the gameplay formula and some modes lack some charm, but nevertheless, its an awesome game worth your money and time, more if you love fighting games.

At first glance, Lies of P might appear to be another soulslike and another Bloodborne clone without personality, but when you're playing, you can see how great of an experience it is.

A great sequel to the 2015 game. Star Wars: Battlefront II feels like a complete product, but the loot box thing surely is going to cause bad reactions.

Diablo II: Resurrected is a product that appeals towards the longing of the community. It adds new functions that bring it up to speed with modern games, but at the same time, it still feels like an old-school title, which might alienate some people.

Despite its problems with the facial animations, Mass Effect Andromeda is a great entry in one of the most beloved franchises of all time. Great side-quests, a compelling story, memorable characters, a solid combat system, decisions that matter and a deep atmosphere all make this game a must-have for every sci-fi fan.

Soul Hackers 2 is a little and simple, but very good Shin Megami Tensei game. It is true that it's level design is pretty bland, but it's music, story, combat and characters, are pretty great.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park is a very interesting package. This version offers a short but entertaining expansion for the single-player campaign. The Koopaling levels are great fun and play wonderfully with the core mechanics of the main experience to provide challenges that everyone will love. At the same time, we shouldn't forget that many players will likely be venturing into the Flower Kingdom for the first time—which also means they will be encountering one of the Italian plumber's very best games.

The amount of great ideas one can see in WarioWare: Move It! It's totally overwhelming. On more than one occasion I had to stop for a moment to think how someone could have come up with something as brilliantly fun as putting you in a chicken position in a micro game about filling cavities. Entering the new adventure of Wario and company is like entering a candy store on another planet where everything has color and as soon as you try it, a huge smile appears on your face because of the way it surprises you. Of course, the product is not perfect because of the way in which it could have proposed something new at a structural level, but undoubtedly, its virtues far outweigh its defects, making it another very easy game to recommend to anyone. It's crazy how many great titles can only be enjoyed on Switch.

Nuclear Throne is simple, chaotic, addictive, challenging and fun; a game that you can take for a pair of minutes or many hours trying to beat its difficult random levels. This first episode for Life is Strange 2 is one of the biggest surprises of 2018 so far. Dontnod Entertainment not only has improved its saga in a technical way, but the script and characterization for the game presents huge and delicate topics among the American culture.
