Whether you're with the Resistance or a member of the First Order, you should definitely check out Star Wars Pinball: The Force Awakens Pack. This is one of Zen Studios' best add-ons yet, and that's saying something considering the stellar releases in the past.

The two new tables do not deliver any new narrative elements, but they manage to create a new level of excitement around the adventures of Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren, and the rest of the cast by delivering interactivity, even if it is somewhat limited by the pinball mechanics.

The use of the Star Wars license was very good with these two tables. We loved the second mini table on Might of the First Order, it’s a fun and fresh mechanic on the Star Wars Pinball catalogue.

When the force awakens, it does so for everyone – good and bad. Just as the next generation of Big Deals in the Star Wars galaxy includes players on both sides, the new tables for Zen Pinball 2 include one for the good guys and one for the bad.

Star Wars fans who want more and can't wait until the next film can at least partially tide themselves over by racking up a few million points with Rey, Finn, Kylo Ren and the rest. Zen's done a great job of capturing the source material, and this package is sure to please pinball players who aren't Force fans, as well.

The most inventive seemed to be the BB-8 mini-game which unfortunately was let down by clunky movement and irresponsive controls.

There’s fun to be had if you look for it, but if it’s a matter of choosing one group of tables over another, its certainly something I would take into account.
