With three strong and well-designed online experiences, Black Ops 4 is a fantastic and addictive experience for young players. Its own Battle Royale called Black Out turns out to be better than people expected and could establish a new direction for this popular genre. A must-play for Call of Duty long time fans.

If Borderlands 4 is a soft reboot, the future of the series looks very attractive. The game introduces interesting ideas and keeps all the systems that have worked in the past intact. While the open world could have been better, this is a very interesting step toward a promising future for the series.

So if you've already had a chance to try the original experience, it's a product worth re-experiencing for all the additions that have gone to the trouble of programming. On the other hand, if you haven't played it before and you're a Kirby fan, I think you shouldn't miss out on adding it to your Switch collection.

Lego Dimensions is an interesting and fresh proposal on the market of games with NFC toys because it has unique interactions with the portal. Tons of fan service, an original story and a good selection of licenses are a good starting point to Warner and Traveller’s Tales new IP.

Super Meat Boy 3D is a reminder of why platforming games are so special, and above all, of how important it is to preserve classic genres in their purest form. Team Meat and Sluggerfly have delivered one of the most addictive games of the year, successfully allowing the iconic series that pioneered the indie scene to transition into three dimensions without losing its essence in the process. Thanks to its finely tuned controls, high difficulty, excellent level design, and overall solid execution, we believe this is one of those must-play titles for anyone who loves platforming.

Blasphemous is one of the most interesting metroidvanias recently. It offers a great gameplay and exquisite visual presentation. A simple sound production and several technical errors can be annoying, but they do not prevent you from appreciating the great quality of this game.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the step of innovation that the series needed. At the end of the day, though, that installment feels more like a grand experiment than the franchise's standard going forward.

Thanks to its intricate and well-crafted level design, intelligent implementation of new mechanics, great pacing, an interesting story that significantly expands the series' lore, spectacular technical department, and of course, great respect for what this series has always been, we can tell you that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is that long-awaited return we've been waiting for. Of course, there are the NPCs that are completely unnecessary and that, in reality, we would have liked them to take more risks, but at the end of the day, Retro Studios knew how to save this project that we're sure, on more than one occasion, was on the verge of disappearing. Switch 2 closes its first semester of life with a gold standard.

Injustice 2 is a great sequel for Gods Among Us. NetherRealm Studios took a pretty safe road with this title in terms of gameplay mechanics, but the little changes they made work perfectly. A great story, good loot box system and a solid multiplayer, make this experience worthwhile.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is an awesome expansion that offers an incredible story that approaches the world we already know from a new perspective, as well as some new interesting additions in the form of jobs, races and gameplay mechanics. The bad part is that the narrative is kinda slow paced and take some time before starting to get deeper and darker.

Shadows of Rose, despite not having the duration that many expected, is a fantastic campaign that works as an epilogue to the story that began in Resident Evil VII. The focus on puzzles makes every encounter with an enemy a high level of tension, and every time the game asks you to explore a section and solve a series of problems, it makes it clear why Capcom is one of the best studios out there. time to make survival horror games. This content alone is worth the $20 price of admission.
