Xenoblade Chronicles X is the product of great ambition and a desire to transcend in the current video games industry. This is perhaps the biggest and the most complex title in the Wii U catalog. Even though it has a share of technical flaws, it manages to offer an experience like no one has ever seen.

I appreciated every aspect of SOMA from the beginning until the very end. Even if it reminds us of Dead Space by having a companion or Bioshock for the underwater elements, it manages to transcend by its own merits, thanks to the high quality of the level design, the credible world with atmospheric horrors and the various decisions we take to make the experience ours and ours only.

Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster is a great experience. The original was phenomenal, and everything the remaster adds and changes usually works in its favor. Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster is the best way to experience the 3DS classic today, and a spectacular Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. I just hope this means Bravely Second will get the same treatment, or that Bravely Third is even in development.

This remaster version of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is a great way to revive the Nintendo DS classic, but the lack of real extras are a pretty important downside.

The Episode 2 of this new Hitman is a great return to the game. All the gameplay possibilities that Sapienza offers are a wonderful addition and the level design is a brilliant element. Exploring this Italian town is a great experience.

For those soccer lovers that are very passionate with their teams and gets it to a next level. Just like other years, EA Sports launch this new title of their loved soccer franchise, FIFA 16, a better game than the last ones and with great development for a next generation console.

Like in previous years, FIFA 18 it's a game that fans of soccer will appreciate the most. There's different ways that you can enjoy of its contents and when you are through with one of them, you can continue with another one that has several differences. Either that you just like to play with your buddies at parties, compete with thousands of fans online from around the world, or whether you'd like to relish on a good story in The Journey. But we have to admit that the novelties are scarce on comparison with last years entry.

Super Mario RPG is a new example of how to represent old classics in a new way. Nintendo just nailed it, presenting gorgeous graphics and music, and making the right choice on how to make better things such as gameplay mechanics and quality of life improvements.

Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse offers a rich experience: a complex story, engaging characters and a deep gameplay system. It improves several things seen in Shin Megami Tensei IV while keeping the core gameplay that made its predecessor one the great RPGs for the 3DS.

This remaster of We Love Katamari complies with bringing the experience of years ago, and it is that there was never any talk of doing a remake or something similar, just bringing it to a new audience. If you don't want to plug your PS2 back in then it doesn't hurt to buy it, and if you've never played it in your life, I think it would be a good window of entry.

It's nice to see that Square Enix gives a decent treatment to its remastered games. This is not just a washed up version of the same game we saw last year. The development team got their hands dirty and reworked many of the flaws that the press saw on PlayStation 3.

As a midpoint in the Year of the Ninja, the Spanish studio delivers a great experience that all Ninja Gaiden fans should experience, and I imagine more than one person will have Ragebound in mind when it comes time to choose this year's best games.

There's no doubt about it, DOOM: The Dark Ages is one of the best games of the year, one of the best FPSs of the generation, and an experience you absolutely have to play. Completely ignoring this title is blasphemy you shouldn't commit.

Video games are just about putting us in the role of the character we control, and Ghost of Tsushima more than succeeds in making you feel like you are a thirteenth-century Samurai, thanks to great achievements in terms of game mechanics, controls, a world Interesting open and genuinely vivid, stunning graphics and of course a screaming art direction. Yes, we have the presence of some clutches and design flaws very typical of the subgenre to which this title belongs, but nothing that overshadows the experience that this closure represents to the great exclusives of the PlayStation 4.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition its a great opportunity to play and enjoy, one more time (o even for the firts time), one of the mos beloved JRPG games in history. Albeit its not perfect and many of its flaws have gotten more obvious with the pass of the years, its a huge game with the enough charm and content to maintain any gamer busy and enjoying for a long time.

Believe me when I tell you that as soon as your PS5 is ready, what you should do before anything else, is to start playing Astro's Playroom. You will have time for the other games, this is the one that will really feel you in a completely new generation of consoles that can do things that definitely, something like the PS4 could not.

Guacamelee! 2 is a game full of colorful, fun and tributes to world pop culture. Located in Mexico, it is also a tribute to the country and its traditions and ways of living. It is a challenging experience from start to finish, which becomes addictive and leads the player to take their skills to the fullest to meet the challenges that can become a true madness in certain points. Definitely a game that you have to play.

Even if it is a spinoff of the main series, it stands out on it’s own. The new battle system adds challenge and offers a different perspective of what we were used to.
