Turn 10 Studios comes back again with Forza Motorsport. The seventh game comes full of new content and bringing the 4K experience to those with the Xbox One X. Great gameplay which is perfect for all kinds of players and an astonishing number of vehicles.

Quietus of the Knights is, to sum up, a masterpiece of the metroidvania genre. Finesterra introduces one of the most memorable journeys of the year, giving us a decadent universe that is as tragic as beautiful and also with a fun, complex and precise gameplay. Definitely, a must-have not only for those who are fans of the genre, but also for those who are not as well as for anyone that wants to give themselves a true gift. It is an absolute recommendation.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction Special Edition is a very complete fighting game with multiple single-player game modes and an elaborate combat system. This version does not have many new features but the portable mode is a big enough reason to recommend it. A great sample from the best of the fighting genre for your Nintendo Switch.

Cyberpunk 2077 gives the player the ultimate freedom to play. A video game that takes the best of modern RPG, first-person shooter, stealth and open world games and masterfully blends it into a single product. If Skyrim and GTA V represented a turning point for their genres at the beginning of the 2010s, Cyberpunk 2077 is called upon to do the same in 2020, despite its technical flaws.

Cadence of Hyrule is an ingenious crossover that shows that the saga of The Legend of Zelda still has a lot to say. Its musical mechanics inherited from Crypt of the Necrodancer and the wonderful folklore of the Nintendo franchise combine perfectly to create an unrepeatable experience.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder makes the jump to Nintendo Switch 2 alongside its new expansion, “Encounter in Belabel Park,” which adds previously unseen content to the base game in the form of challenges spanning different formats. Essentially, this DLC is built around delivering a new multiplayer experience within the series, evolving into something akin to a Mario Party designed for platformer fans—though it also features trials and challenges for all tastes.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom has the potential to become a whole new series on its own thanks to the many possibilities that Zelda introduces as the main character, both narratively and gameplay-wise. It may not be the most ambitious entry in the franchise, and it definitely has some flaws, but even so there's a very big chance for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom to become a fan favorite game.

Obsidian offers a new videogame that brings back the outstanding first person RPG gameplay from Fallout New Vegas. However, due to some flaws, this game also feels like it's from 2010, making it a bit obsolete from its very launch date.

While it is true that we are facing a completely unnecessary remaster, the different possibilities to enjoy it are quite accessible. The visual improvement is indisputable, and it is gratifying to be able to play the original installment with the technical section of the sequel. In addition, if we take into account that the remaster includes the expansion "The Frozen Wilds" with new areas, weapons, enemies and characters, they make this remaster a product of greater value and interest than other remasters such as Until Dawn or The Last of Us.

Yakuza 0: Director's Cut proves that great video game titles can find new life on unexpected platforms. While the new features don't fully justify the premium price tag for veterans, it's still an essential experience for any player who hasn't visited the streets of Kamurocho.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an enjoyable game whether you're a Star Wars fan or a person outside the franchise. A robust, pleasant combat system that is the axis of a title that takes us to a wide variety of locations, poses constant challenges and tells us a story with a much stronger narrative than what the first installment gave us. A continuity sequel that is committed to improving both what it did well and what it did wrong, being a logical and consistent evolution.

Starfield is Bethesda's best game in a very long time. Its ambition knows no boundaries, yet it still leans on Bethesda's iconic craftsmanship in RPG building, this time around soaring through the vastness of space. Quality-wise, Starfield is Bethesda's best game since Skyrim. It feels as though this is the game Bethesda has always wanted to create; a deep longing that becomes a majestic journey for all RPG fans to get lost in.

Control was already a good game before Ultimate Edition, with obvious negatives but impressive gameplay, but Control Ultimate Edition in PS5 is amazing: graphically it is in a whole other level, with a very stable performance at 60fps (if you set the performance mode) and a good resolution (1440p). However, the best part is how Control Ultimate Edition takes advantage of the DualSense features such as the adaptive triggers or the haptic feedback.

DOOM: The Dark Ages has managed to distance itself enough from Eternal to avoid being overwhelmed by its legacy and create its own that lives up to what the series needed: a third installment that feels like a DOOM, but not the "nth" DOOM. Almost like a fascinating mix between a first-person shooter and a hack and slash, id Software has created something unique... again.

Pragmata shines with one of the most original combat systems in recent years, but it struggles to stay engaging over time. Pro Evolution 2017 is not a step forward in the evolution of the series. Apart from the huge lack of licenses, Konami has not added new game modes in order to keep the franchise fresh. Besides, the online mode is a mess and gives very negative vibes.

Nioh 2 expands what's already seen in the original Team Ninja work, offering us new features that give spectacular combat and give it a more technical title than in other games of the genre. We found ourselves a complete, long adventure with countless possibilities: a real homage to Dragon Quest and its legacy. It is a vide ogame that, as a spin-off, manages to achieve something very rare: to surpass some of the main entries. And the only way to do this is by caring about the brand, treating it the way it deserves, and adding mechanics the way they should be added.
