Anton Blast isn't just an excellent platformer; it's a masterclass in how to modernize classic formulas without losing their essence. With its combination of polished mechanics, brilliant level design, and impeccable presentation, it's rightfully earned the Golden Genie Lamp of approval.

Halo Infinite's compendium is a remarkable one, a game that excels in all areas and that properly shows the hard work that 343 Industries has put in the game. The campaign is cool and the multiplayer is lots of fun, so all in all John 117's first appearance in the next-gen is a fantastic one.

And the thing is that Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition stands out for practically the same reasons as its sister installments: fun gameplay, a good story, charismatic characters (although in this work they are not as much as in other titles in the saga) and, above all, a world that is overwhelming to see and explore due to how vast it is. Huge, yes. And also very dangerous, as I mentioned in the analysis. But it is a joy to get lost and discover scenarios, each one more impressive than the last, with scenarios that are the envy of many current open worlds.

Diablo IV is a highly addictive video game that boasts wonderful aesthetics and top notch world building and level design. It is a perfect dark adventure to get lost in for an awful lot of tens of hours and one that you will hardly get tired of.

Rocket League on Nintendo Switch is an amazing experience and we can carry our game wherever we want. Even though its graphics could be better when in portable mode, this game means hours and hours of entertainment.

Age of Empires II is a game that forever remains as part of your own existence. It does not matter how much time goes on, in the end you ALWAYS remember having played AOE; it is a timeless classic. You REALLY want to play this new version of the game, whether it is because you want to explore one of the greatest video games ever for the very first time, or because you are an 'old school' player that wants to re-live a glorious age that will no longer come back.

Street Fighter 6: Years 1-2 Fighters Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 isn't just a successful port; it's an evolution of the genre that sets new standards for accessibility and fun. Exclusive modes prove that hardware innovation can create truly new gameplay experiences without sacrificing the essence that makes a franchise special—something that's only possible with Nintendo at the helm.

A remarkable debut in all of its different aspects that will certainly be appreciated by those who are yet to test the franchise. It is a perfect conversion to PC that has undoubtedly earned SEGA some praise, although the lack of Spanish language is still an issue.

If you liked the game on PS5 and you have a decent PC, 100% recommended. It is without a doubt the best version of the game. It shows the effort and affection of Nixxes for this to be possible. I find it amazing that it works on the Steam Deck. On the downside, it needs some patches to make the experience flawless.

The remake of Silent Hill 2 honors the great audiovisual work that Konami released in 2001, maintaining a high level and improving many of its most distinctive features. Silent Hill 2 was an essential title more than 20 years ago, and it remains so today with this magnificent remake.

Studio Ghibli and Level- 5 join forces again to deliver a remaster of a game that detaches magic and charisma at its artistic level and amply meets the requirements of the classic JRPG genre, giving rise an experience that, despite some small imperfections that prevent it from standing as a perfect videogame, it becomes a journey hard to forget.

Mario Kart World is the ultimate Nintendo Switch 2 launch game. This entry goes far beyond anything seen before in the franchise; it’s a true turning point. It’s simply better, offering far more than previous Mario Karts. Try it, or you’ll likely miss out on one of the decade’s best Nintendo games.

Nioh 3 represents a bold evolution for Team Ninja's punishing samurai saga. Where the first two entries excelled in tight, mission-based structure and stance mastery, this sequel leaps into larger open fields packed with content, such as side quests and Crucible trials, delivering that signature tension with far more freedom to explore. The real game-changer? Seamless switching between Samurai and Ninja modes mid-fight, allowing you to chain fast-paced combos with Ninjutsu and powerful Onmyo Magic.

Bayonetta 3 brings back our beloved Umbra Witch alongside a bunch of other characters and a story that is not afraid to risk it all. It is the perfect game for both veteran players and newcomers, and its most powerful traits are the gameplay, its humor and a bewitching OST.

Ghost of Yotei checks all the boxes, particularly through a main storyline that hooks you from the very first moment and continues to build powerful emotions. Despite being a story of vengeance, its many familiar moments transform it into a deeply human tale, allowing you to connect with the characters on a profound emotional level. Additionally, there's a wealth of secondary content that genuinely adds depth to the world, rather than feeling like mere filler. While Ghost of Yotei has some minor flaws, it is undoubtedly one of the best releases of 2025 and a video game that deserves to be a strong candidate for Game of the Year.

While much of the industry seems intent on recycling formulas and chasing after others' successes, works like Mixtape remind us of something essential: that there are still video games capable of making us feel something different. Of moving us. Of transporting us back to another moment in our lives. Of helping us breathe a little easier. And in times like these… that is worth as much as oxygen itself.

Within the shooter genre, it's a true gem, and one of the best extraction shooters. I could easily call it the Helldivers 2 of 2025. It's not an extremely innovative title, but everything it does, it does brilliantly. It can be a bit slow, especially at the beginning. But it's incredibly addictive to loot, progress with your character, try new things, and above all, interact with other players, as its social aspect is amazing.

No, Silent Hill f is not the best game in the franchise, but it is an outstanding installment that looks back on older titles and lays the groundwork for Konami to continue the saga with quality standards it had forgotten since the PlayStation 2 generation.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection takes the spin-off series to the next level and proves it deserves the same respect as the mainline entries. Its gameplay loop is extremely addictive, with tens of hours of egg hunting, deep monster customization and a full-fledged story with strong narrative beats and memorable secondary characters. Visually, the game is stunning, boasting a vibrant anime aesthetic reminiscent of Studio Ghibli. Overall, it’s a great new entry in the Monster Hunter franchise.

Persona 4 Golden is like that bedside book that you are so fond of, a world that you want to return to again and again to meet characters you even dream of. If you forgive the passage of time, we are facing a title that even surpasses the fifth installment, bridging the gap.

Luigi returns with an adventure in which most remarkable virtues hide behind his playable mechanics. Nintendo has managed again to create a game where what we do and the environments we travel through are with connected tightly. The game and the player meet in an experience the feeling of discovery is the greatest reward and, ultimately, puts Luigi's Mansion 3 onto the list of the best of Nintendo Switch greatest titles.

Dragon's Dogma 2 follows pretty closely many aspects from previous entries in the franchise, both the good and the bad. Gameplay-wise, Dragon's Dogma 2 definitely includes elements that feel a little bit outdated, and that could've been tweaked one way or another in order to further improve the overall experience. Still, this is an excellent RPG, and every fan of the genre is certainly in for quite a treat.

Armored Core VI manages to distinguish itself from all the Souls-dependance that FromSoftware has developed in recent years, and also does it while providing fun and challenging gameplay. Some boss battles will require players to tinker with their mechs, but luckily so, the incredible amount of possibilities and combinations that Armored Core VI displays will turn every hard battle into a 'mini puzzle' of sorts.

Given that Returnal was not amongst the most anticipated upcoming games of 2021, carrying a sort of underdog label, it is a massive surprise. Housemarque has carried out its most ambitious project and, although it has slight shortcomings, it is one of the games that best use the DualSense and PS5 characteristics, thus becoming an essential pick for both shooters and roguelikes fans alike. And, of course, it's very addictive.
