It might lack the decision making aspect of the RPG genre but, beyond that, Shadows: Awakening is an amazing game. The great mechanic of having multiple protagonists in one avatar makes every combat tactical in a distinguishable way, which is tied to an addictive playable structure , an interesting history and a dense amount of content to create a epic adventure.- Areajugones

Tyranny is a must-buy for the players that enjoy the RPG genre. It features thousands of options and a great plot, but with a very abrupt ending that does no good for the player.- Areajugones

In spite of the fact that the expectations weren’t high after the first trailers, Pokémon: Let’s Go is able to result, not only in a really good remake of Pokémon Red/Green, but in the biggest step forward in the franchise. Definitely one of the biggest and greatest surprises of 2018.- Areajugones

Retro Studios opts for a game that looks back to the classics, understanding that the saga’s greatest virtue lies within its own legacy. This fourth installment of the franchise will be remembered for years as the one that survived nearly a decade of uncertainty and ultimately became the best thing Nintendo could give us: a good old-fashioned Metroid Prime.- Areajugones

Void Bastards is a fun and fresh mix between classic first-person shooter and modern roguelikes. Focusing on giving the player more problems than punishments, Blue Manchu has crafted a game that is fun from the beginning to the end. Furthermore, its aesthetics and graphics are simply gorgeous. One of the greatest surprises of 2019 so far.- Areajugones

We feel that 3 Minutes To Midnight has been a work conceived by true lovers of graphic adventures, who have known how to focus their efforts on what really matters in the genre. Crazy and acid humor, countless perfectly written dialogues, an exemplary cast of characters full of charisma, as well as a staging that captivates thanks to impeccable artistic direction. All this gives shape to a work that from this moment on is part of the best modern graphic adventures of recent years.- Areajugones

EA returns to get the best fighting simulator in terms of MMA, a demanding and realistic title in the fights that we will have to learn to give our best shot and elevate our fighter to the UFC podium. The novelties of this fourth installment seem enough and will satisfy fans of the genre, although we expected something more in the graphics section, the truth is that UFC 4 is a worthy continuation of the saga.- Areajugones

If it works don't fix it, and Forza Motorsport proves that very same philosophy can be one to follow. It may not be a turning point within the Forza franchise, but it is a damn good game that improves enough over its predecessor to certainly consider it a better game. The gameplay is impeccable and it is incredibly accessible even for those who do not play with a racing wheel, plus it most likely is the best game in Xbox from a visual standpoint. All in all, Forza Motorsport definitely becomes a must-have within Xbox's catalog.- Areajugones

Stellar Blade is one of the best action oriented experiences on PS5 and manages to meet pretty high standards in most of its aspects. However, even if Stellar Blade is able to stand on its own two feet, more often than not it tends to remind you of other video games. In the end, there's a few little things that prevent Stellar Blade from becoming a memorable experience.- Areajugones

Assassin’s Creed Origins performs remarkably in every aspect and shows a final and finished product, leaving behind the ghosts that had this franchise. It’s a title that every fan of the series should play, because it correctly maintains the essence and implements fresh and fun elements to the series. Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is one of those titles capable of hooking you almost without realizing it, slipping into your daily routine and constantly surprising you with situations as unpredictable as they are hilarious. It doesn’t need grand gimmicks to shine. Its greatest virtue is precisely that: turning the ordinary into something extraordinary, relying on chaos, humor, and the player’s creativity.- Areajugones

Moon Studios is back with a sequel that has managed to expand the well-established bases of its predecessor with great success and keeping the essence of the franchise intact. Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a larger, more ambitious and more complete game than the first one. Its gameplay, artistic design and soundtrack are intertwined in an enchanting mix that generates one of the best trips that can be made: the one that you have enjoyed even more than you expected.- Areajugones

The restoration work on Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake stands as one of the finest seen in recent years. It serves as a homage to the original games and an enhancement and expansion of their worlds. These classics are deeply nostalgic, very much products of their time, with all the charm—and limitations—that entails.- Areajugones

Paper Mario: The Origami King is the best entry of the series since 'The Thousand-Year Door'; it ain't your typical RPG, nor does it aim to be. The IP has taken a different path, and now its main selling point is the originality of its gameplay (quite demanding and strategic this time). A must-have game for the Nintendo Switch.- Areajugones
