If you're looking for a game where "taking a walk" potentially means encountering psychic anomalies, mutants, hungry folks, and stalkers who probably want your last can of beans, then S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is your game. It's like extreme camping where you forgot the tent, food, and sanity at home. Is it worth venturing into the Zone? Absolutely. Even if it's just to brag about surviving to tell the tale. And if you find that last can of dog food, save it for me. You never know when radiation might work up an appetite. And remember, stalker: in the Zone, it's not paranoia if everything really is trying to kill you. Now, who's ready for an adventure?

Pokémon Sword and Shield is a game that knows how to keep intact the inheritance it receives from previous titles of the saga and, at the same time, introduces a series of new elements that will lead the franchise into the future. In an attempt to be a gateway for everyone, Game Freak's new project will please both newcomers and more experienced players because, although some sections of this new installment have received less attention, it still has a content which will be attractive enough for every coach to find his place in the new region of Galar.

Civilization VII represents the most ambitious leap forward in the series' history. Firaxis has managed to modernize the formula while maintaining the essence that has made the series great. The introduction of the Dynamic Eras system, the revamping of combat and diplomacy, along with improvements to urban development, create an experience that feels fresh and familiar at the same time.

FIFA 19 on Nintendo Switch offers an experience almost on par with the other versions of the game. This version’s visuals are kind of weak on TV mode, however, it also proves to be enough when playing on handheld mode. Furthermore, it features all of the available options for the Champions League, the Ultimate Team as well as other game modes.

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is not just one of the best stealth games of recent years; it's an artistic statement about what the genre can achieve when deep narrative, exceptional technical design, and refined mechanics are combined to perfection. River End Games has created something that honors the legacy of the classics while establishing new standards for the future. It's the type of game that makes you remember why you fell in love with tactical stealth in the first place, but with an emotional depth that the genre rarely reaches. For anyone who has enjoyed Commandos, Shadow Tactics, or Desperados, Eriksholm represents the natural evolution of the genre. For new players, it's the perfect introduction to what stealth can offer when executed with absolute mastery.

Konami closes off the current generation with the best entry that we have seen so far. eFootball PES 2020 possesses, undoubtetly, the most realistic gameplay ever for a football game. Unfortunately, the game still lacks the same thing as the previous entries: its game modes do not have enough depth.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy takes us on a trip back in time so as to not only dearly remember the original but also convince the player through new visuals and a gameplay with lots of fun. Despite the fact that the game may prove as too easy for some, and there are also several issues with the camera, it is still a great option when considering the cost and general quality of the game. Spyro is definitely back for good.

Resident Evil 8 Village becomes one of the best games of 2021 due to a couple of main reasons: first, it polishes the formula of its predecessor, and second, it provides an essence like no other in the whole franchise. Ethan Winters' new adventure is a sublime work that shines whether it is regarding its storytelling or the gameplay; from the characters to the general atmosphere, it manages to entice us from the very first moment, distinguishing itself as a standalone story but, at the same time, finding its place within one of the most relevant IP in the industry.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound achieves something extraordinarily difficult: completely honoring a classic legacy while creating something that feels completely contemporary. The Game Kitchen has demonstrated that their experience with Blasphemous translates perfectly to established franchises, creating an experience that satisfies both purists and new fans. This is not simply a good Ninja Gaiden game; it's a statement that classic franchises can evolve without losing their identity. It's the demonstration that 2D and modern are not contradictory terms, and that intelligent nostalgia can coexist with genuine innovation.

I find it amazing that it works on the Steam Deck. On the downside, it needs some patches to make the experience flawless.
