That this cover shooter took a lot of inspiration from Gears of War, isn’t a bad thing. At least if you compared it to the poor visuals, the thin sound and the abysmal English localization that takes it far beyond trash.

Entertaining management of a flight crew thru military missions, hampered by clunky controls and harsh difficulty spikes.

With better scenarios the crash fun shifts into next gear. But some of the problems of its predecessor are still evident on the colorful streets of Danger Zone 2.

An interesting puzzle concept that started on VR platforms and lost some of its appeal with the problems that came with the disorienting camera that replaced the head movement in VR.

The co-operative alien hunt is a decent Left 4 Dead clone that lacks variety, a decent balance and content in general.

It feels weird to experience the franchise that called Sony consoles a home on the PC for the first time. Having said that, the port is extremely polished and should be a good indication for things to come.

The trilogy reaches its eventful climax. If you like tactical roleplaying games it doesn’t get much better than with this epic entertainment.

Visually charming puzzle platformer with challenging, but logical brainteasers and underutilized story-elements.

Captivating old-school RPG with an extensive turnbased battle system and stunning artdesign, but also quite some grind and varying quality in the storytelling for the eight protagonists.

Like a few years back it still is tremendous and unadulterated fun to dive into this open world that doesn’t even try to pretend to be anything but a playground of destruction.

It has its flaws, but in its best moments this is an intense VR stealth game with loads of phsical movement and a cool teleportation system.

I said it a year ago and I can gladly repeat myself: As a remake this is as good as it gets. Faithful to the original but with enough visual improvement to make it current.

As an arcade racer you’ll get quite a bit of fun out of The Crew 2, thanks to plenty of vehicles and the various race types as well as challenges. The open world on the other hand is only little more than an empty shell.

With its 30fps-limit and the backscaled graphics it doesn’t feel as fluid or impressive as its big siblings, but nonetheless the Switch-version is proof that Nintendo’s hybrid and visually challenging titles don’t have be natural enemies.

Taken the complexity out of its notorious fighting mechanics was a good choice - especially since playability wasn’t sacrificed over it. Having half of the roster staying hidden behind DLC definitely isn’t that smart.
