The nostalgic flair from back in the early strategy days is still there. But sind RTS came such a long way and has improved even with its successor (in 1999) tremendously, the gameplay deficits are also more evident.- 4P.de

Following in the footsteps of Dark Souls you can look forward to tense moments, a high challenge level and a lot of deaths. But you will dread the ridiculous dialogue and superficial world design.- 4P.de

Competent core with little flesh: The disciplines of Nintendo Switch Sports work well and are welcome party guests, but Nintendo has sloppy in scope, modes and many subtleties.- 4P.de

MXGP captures the motocross feeling and delivers decent dual-stick controls to keep bike and rider under control. Unfortunately technically the off-road travels don’t seem optimized for PS4.- 4P.de

While art design and location are the same as in Akiba’s Trip the fighting system as well as the narrative have changed and take their inspiration from Atlus’ Persona-series on one side and Groundhog Day on the other. Unfortunately this mix doesn’t bode well.- 4P.de

Technically old-fashioned adventure with real actors delivering a long forgotten trash factor. Puzzles and investigating the locations makes the trip to the past worthwhile.- 4P.de

Offroad racing with good driving physics and appealing DualSense-utilization. In terms of modes, content and tutorials Milestone has taken quite a few steps back.- 4P.de

Classical, but also old-fashioned and sometimes cumbersome turn based tactics based on the Netflix show.- 4P.de

Unfortunately this is not the spiritual successor to ThrillVille. What it gives you is a tremendous editor with convincing physics that tries to camouflage that the attached mini-games are average at best.- 4P.de

Solid (very old-)school survival horror with intelligent puzzle design and a strong focus on stealth and escape. With less trial and error it would have been even better.- 4P.de

It sounds more promising than it really is. With all due respect to the solo development effort of Denis Galanin the picture puzzles become redundant after a while – especially since they are almost void of Kafka’esque elements.- 4P.de

The surreal world with its design in the spirit of heavy metal album covers sparks your interest, but with the shallow characters and hardly-challenging puzzles you get little more than solid entertainment.- 4P.de

The newest episode of the RPG saga delivers solid entertainment with its dynamic turn based battles and the alchemy experiments the franchise is known for.- 4P.de

The audiovisual presentation with its retro flair is charming and thanks to the constant challenge the motivation starts on a high level. It is replaced by frustration though, because challenge quickly becomes routine, which in turn made me go back to more classic jump&runs.- 4P.de

If you look hard enough, you'll find the fun in Fable Heroes – especially with friends. But in the long run the lack of variety and more so the lack of content will keep you from going back to Albion.- 4P.de

Thanks to some well-written dialogue, directing your party of four can be entertaining. However, turn-based battles sacrifice tactical depth for gadgets and gimmickry, while collision detection as well as AI behavior leave room for improvement.- 4P.de

In terms of design this is pixelart at its finest. But when you look behind the pretty facade the mechanics are not as refined and remain mainly superficial.- 4P.de

Yes, it is entertaining. But is also hardly more than a fairly short and repetitive time travel trip through Sega's console history.- 4P.de

This is the law-abiding step brother of Hotline Miami. But while the concept with the cop duo suggests tactical depth, it stumbles over AI faults. So in the end in terms of intensity, style and atmosphere there still is half a continent between the east and the west coast.- 4P.de

The semi-automatic rush from cover to cover gives this arena shooter a unique rhythm while clever drone deployment leads to tense moments. Unfortunately the battle arenas are as conventional and predictable as the weapons or the game modes.- 4P.de

This dungeon crawler offers conventional hack & slay-action for up to four hunters. But be aware: The loot system can be unfair and compared to other hack&slays this is a rather short experience.- 4P.de

15 years after the original release the visuals are outdated – even with the HD stamp while the font size is borderline small. That aside the search for the most efficient production routes is still captivating.- 4P.de
