The positive trend continues. I am especially happy about the environment puzzles, the boss fights as well as the quiet moments where fear and terror set in. With every episode it looks more like a real Resident Evil.

Over 60 songs over a wide area of genres, a challenging control scheme and a steep learning curve make this an interesting alternative to Hatsune Miku or Voez.

The looter-shooter-concept is still motivating. But after ten years with only modest progress since the first lootfest on Pandora, it feels a bit dowdy - and don’t forget the occasional technical problem.

If you like to play solo, please stay away. But cooperatively this is great fun – at least until it becomes too frustrating towards the end.

Easily accessible 2D beat-em-up with gorgeous visuals. While the rpg mode is quite dreary, great playability and the online battles make up for that in abundance.

Creative Assembly managed to capture the claustrophobic and dark atmosphere of the film classic. Sometimes the totally unpredictable xenomorph will push you over the edge of frustration, but in the end the suspense and tension will win you over again.

The newest episode of the RPG saga delivers solid entertainment with its dynamic turn based battles and the alchemy experiments the franchise is known for.

A very good ending of an overall weaker second season. Dialogue and human conflict remain one of the strengths.

Even with its technical glitches Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D is still a good game – especially if you don't know the original.

This is a beautiful tactics RPG with an enormous storytelling arc, varied turn based battles and a motivating troop management.

For Honor stands for a unqiue fighting mechanic and clever multiplayer battles at its very engrossing core – but also for connection problems and a boring campaign.

The soundtrack and visuals are beyond reproach, and the mostly fun skate gameplay sees Bomb Rush Cyberfunk grappling with repetition and really annoying cops.

When the moving light sources break through the darkness, you'll get drawn into a fascinating puzzle world filled with abstract brain teasers. But compared to the likes of Braid it lacks good storytelling.

A tense as well as challenging online shooter that manages to strike a balance between simulation and fast paced action.

Technically clean and for the most part beautiful to look at, this re-imagining of a classic is driven by its story but suffers from the once-pioneering principles of the legendary original.

Focus instead of expanding: Unlike many other studios, developer Techland takes a different approach and presents Dying Light: The Beast, a game that knows what it's good at. There's no time for boredom or slow spells in this compact game...But apparently, there's no time for any special innovations either. A sequel, not a dimensional leap. On the other hand, it's just way too much fun to explore the world like a monkey climbing a tree and mauling zombies. It should get boring, but there are too many buttons being pressed for that.

Small engines, big fun: Once you started it is hard to put the Vita down. Head-to-head online duels are sorely missed, though.

The basic principle as well as the presentation are still cool, but the newfound focus on action, special abilities and the randomized “runs” harms the motivation.

Dune Awakening is a magnificent adaptation of the sci-fi original: thanks to the attention to detail and atmosphere, surviving on Arrakis becomes a true delight, only marred by minor bugs and rubberbanding.

Samus Aran makes a strong comeback: Metroid Prime 4 is not only a great game on the Nintendo Switch 2 but also looks fantastic. The only things it really didn't need were the open world section and a few mission types that seem stuck in time.
