No surprises, no innovations, just the proven gameplay virtues of the predecessor, now for up to four players. But that doesn’t only raise the fun to be had with the mix of action, platforming and puzzles, it also makes it more confusing.

The driving physics are a dream come true. If at all, only iRacing can capture the fascination of authentic driving this realistically. But in terms of content it leaves a lot to be desired: Even though it looks great, it still feels like a beta version. Maybe the dev team should have waited a little longer with the official release to give Assetto Corsa more time for fine tuning.

While the over-the-top-action and the humor didn’t lose anything, the visuals don’t scream HD like they do in GTA 5. In its best moments it is on par with the PC version of Saints Row 4, but occasionally suffers from framerate issues. Nonetheless with the addition of all the content, including the recent add-on Gat out of Hell this is a package worth picking up if you haven’t played it on the past-gen systems.

The missions are as varied as they are challenging, while the mountain panoramas are just beautiful. Nonetheless a lot of potential remains untapped.

An exciting sci-fi adventure with great dialogue and fantastic visuals, which Lem’s original novel captures excellently.

Graphically complex action-adventure with good characters, an atmospheric setting and a strong finale - playful in too many places but pale and despondent.

Stylish visuals and challenging fights: On the highest difficulty setting this is very close to Dark Souls in 2D.

The fighting mechanics work well, collision detection is right on the money, online duels are as accurate as offline battles. The narrative though suffers from incoherent styles and a tendency to be drawn out.

While the spin-off “Below Zero” feels more modern, this survival adventure classic is still fascinating - and is mostly well executed on Switch.

Driven by an incredibly tight and accurate fighting engine you'll find only minor flaws – but quite a few of those like the online mode that can't compare to the likes of BlazBlue. But even with all the rough edges, this is Tekken in its purest form.

I am still torn between the well executed integration of typical (offline) Elder Scrolls elements and the necessity to cater to the typical online mechanisms. But the abolition of subscription fees makes it so much easier to get drawn into the world that had its share of problems when it opened the door to an Online-Tamriel more than a year ago on PCs.
