Partisans 1941 is a good title within the genre of tactical action that inevitably recalls what was seen in the Commandos saga. The addition of the camp management, as well as the different improvement trees of each of the characters try to give it its own identity and they succeed in many moments. Unfortunately, the lack of depth in some of its facets, as well as the poor behavior of the enemy AI in some segments of the game, spoil the result of a work that would not have felt bad for something more epic within its narrative than accompany its excellent sound section as it deserves.

Two memorable visual novels in a row. They both contain a very good history and nice visuals, but they are too classic.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 seems to be, again and lamentably, a lost opportunity. This could have been a great chance to vindicate the lost football throne, to demonstrate to the skeptics that they are cappable to make a great game, and to bring some light to a saga that is suffering, overwhelmed by new titles.

Master of Orion has returned and we are happy, but not enough. Despite of being a good 4X strategy game, we miss more innovative gameplay mechanics, and more complex in certain aspects like diplomacy or planetary management.

A solid PSP title. Still addictive as ever, but very little has changed.

While Mirage: Arcane Warfare offers some of the great combat that we love from Chivalry plus some magic, it fails to define to whom is it targeted.

An unusual metroidvania-puzzle adventure specially designed for two players in local coop mode in mind. Several bugs and technical problems hurt the experience.

Ghosts is nothing we haven't already seen in the Call of Duty series. Its campaign is far from past standards, but its multiplayer modes again exemplify its great shooter gameplay.

A simplified RPG with a stunning and charming visual department. The random battles can be annoying at times and the storytelling is quite predictable, but apart from that it is fun to play.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 mixes adventure, fighting and minigames with an exclusive Naruto's story, a big group of playable characters and interesting customization posibilities about them. It's a must-have for fans and a correct closure for the Ultimate Ninja series on PlayStation 2.

One Piece is back with a new adventure game created by ILCA and Bandai Namco, a classic JRPG with fun turn-based battles, good graphics and an interesting plot… but its gameplay is quite basic and straightforward.

A good sense of humor and a humble tribute to classic science fiction movies that tries to give variety to its action, but it still remains a plain game. Full of charm, that’s for sure.

As expected, NBA Live 19 it's a fairly interesting basket sim with an arcade tuning thrown in it. The CPU AI isn't perfect by any means, but in spite of that it's a fine basketball game.

Darwin's Paradox is one of those games that, without reinventing the wheel, knows exactly how to play its cards right. The platforming manages to be challenging without feeling suffocating, the puzzles are simple enough that you never get frustrated, and even exploring the world for collectibles takes both the jumping and the puzzles a step further than what you typically experience throughout the rest of the adventure. Battlefield Hardline is a good shooter and its core is still enjoyable. The main issue with the game is the fact that Visceral Games hasn’t made sufficient efforts to get something fresh from the cops vs crooks formula.

Dune: Spice Wars leaves early access without many relevant changes beyond its campaign mode. The style of play and the political base are maintained, and although it is enough to get you hooked and enjoy the game, at the same time its lack of new features weigths too much.

A new example of a great concept poorly executed. The Saboteur could be a surprisingly good sandbox if Pandemic just finished it. This game has neat ideas and the potential for being funny, but its gameplay suffers because of its weak development.
