It may seem like I wasn't a fan of RobotGladi8tor, but that's not true. I enjoyed it. I just had to work to enjoy it, which is sort of a problem. Still, it's certainly not a bad effort.

If anyone reading this likes games with a focus on micromanagement, and either loves or doesn't mind the inclusion of zombies, I'd urge them to buy Rebuild right away.

Eden-World Builder is perfect for a person who enjoyed playing with Legos as a child and wants to experience that fun in a game. The lack of objectives will probably cause some players to grow bored quickly, but others find it very liberating.

While Starfighter Overkill is not a particularly inventive or innovative title, its wave-based gameplay is successful when coupled with the tried and true shooter mechanics.

Grooh is a game meant to be played in short bursts. Like a loyal dog, it will wait patiently and be happy and fun every time its owner returns. Downloading a Grooh of their own is a decision players will not regret.

Mailmen is a cute, clever idea for a game which just seems to be missing a few key components. All the elements are there, but it doesn't quite fit together perfectly.

Froad is cute and the plentiful supply of achievements goes some way to extend longevity, but this is clearly a title best for young gamers. On the iPad in particular, it'll be an ideal distraction for the young.

Reiner Knizia's City of Secrets Skyline can be a major head-scratcher at times, but that's what makes it so great. Anyone who gets a kick out of filling grids with things (numbers, boxes or otherwise) will undoubtedly enjoy it.

For younger word gamers, non-native English speakers, and fans of casual word games that require as much speed as vocabulary, Bubble in Paradise offers a lot of word gaming fun for a small price and universal build.

While it is very familiar, League of Evil 2 is still a ton of fun. Plus, it's pretty much worth buying just because it's a universal app with remote control support and cloud saving. Multiple device owners like myself will absolutely love this game.

While Track Lapse is weird, that isn't really enough to make it a good recommendation. This is only for those that like endless runners but like fixed levels, and/or those who like their games weird and quirky.

I didn't really mind the lack of challenge. The general experience is enjoyable and made all the better by the cute one liners that Spongebob exclaims. For kids, they will love this Spongebob infused game. For adults, they'll enjoy the ride to the end. It's so gleefully happy, it's hard not to smile.

The difficulty level is a little inconsistent with some puzzles proving much harder than others despite being earlier in the game. Other than that, however, The Hacker is a great idea that stands out from the crowd. Mini games alone might have made for a mediocre title but with the backing of an original interface and storyline, The Hacker is well worth a look at a bargain price.

Pinball Arcade is an impressive title, and one that is bound to please pinball fans. It's a shame a couple of issues get in the way.

The simple graphics are clean and work really well. The controls are responsive and the racing is tons of fun. There's no reason not to give Pocket Racing 2 a try.

The controls could use some fine-tuning and I found being unable to 180 without hitting a barrier frustrating, even while understanding that is essential to the puzzle component. Nonetheless, Beat Sneak Bandit has style, well-blended elements from many popular gaming genres, and a unique musical aspect that make for a innovative and pulsating good time.

As a quick diversion for the price, Panda vs. Ninjas is so well designed at the base level that it is very innocuous. Nonetheless it feels like an opportunity missed in its present state. At the time of writing there are two more worlds – presumably 60 more levels – promised to be added later for free, and maybe the developer will use them take better advantage of a well implemented, engrossing brand of puzzler.

It's an annoying oversight in an otherwise satisfying game. For those more interested in answering questions about more recent films, there are better options out there. For the film purist however, this is a great change of pace and one that can be a real brain teaser.

As a tower defense game War in a Box: Paper Tanks is incredibly fun; both challenging and well balanced. Its design is inspired and each graphic element is as charming as it is intricate. This title has so many great elements that it would truly be a shame to miss it.

In the state Brogguts is currently in, I believe it's worth from free to $0.99. When the control issues are fixed and possibly multiplayer added, it will be worth its $2.99 price tag or even more.

My super-annoying technical issues aside, DARIUSBURST SP is still a very good-looking and well-made shmup. Whether or not it's worth the $10.99 will depend on the individual and their love of shooting space crustaceans, but it's certainly a solid effort.

A peaceful, zen-like calm often overtook me as I weaved in and out of the curtains of flaming death that the level-ending bosses would send my way. CAVE has put together one hell of a gateway drug here.

Raid Leader can be frustrating due to the controls, and its length is a bit disappointing, but it's an interesting experience. Strategy fans might want to check this out – it's a bit different than what they might expect, but it might just appeal to a certain player.

Even without being aware of its scientific inspiration, EMC is still a fun little game with a satisfying hook. It's the kind of time-waster perfectly suited for iPads and iPhones. EMC is a successful experiment.
