A great new release from the Angry Birds stable. It adds plenty of great new features to entice players in, both old and new alike. Fans in particular will be delighted, even if they will wonder where all their free time has vanished to.

It may not be a real first-person shooter, at least not in the way everyone would naturally expect, but Mission Sirius is still quite fun. So long as players know what they're getting into I think they'll end up having a good time with it. Although I might suggest muting the sound. At least until someone addresses that annoying voice.

It's a unique take on a superhero flying game that provides quite a bit of action with a lot of space to explore and throw down some sweet power-up combos.

The controls are simple, but not easy to get the hang of. It's a lot of fun to look at and interesting to play but often ends up being more frustrating than fun.

Rune Raiders is a really addictive title. While the backgrounds suffer a bit from repetition, the challenging gameplay more than makes up for this as it's a title that's hard to put down. There's even a randomized survival mode to unlock, which adds longevity.

Universal and priced at $0.99 with 40 levels, Time Sliders offers a pretty satisfactory package. Making a simple idea feel more original is no easy feat but Sarcastic Hedgehog has managed this. Fans of sliding puzzles will be happy here.

Air Wings is an enjoyable and also surprisingly competitive game. The controls have been done well, and the matches are free from lag. Players with a couple of dollars spare for the in-app purchases should definitely give this a try.

MotoHeroz is another fantastic entry in a genre that RedLynx has taken command of. The physics-based gameplay, level design, and asynchronous multiplayer elements are all fantastic. Now, if only we can get RedLynx on the universal app train, we'd really have something. Other than that, the game is fantastic.

The visuals are passable and not by any means ugly. They are fairly standard with some nice flourishes here and there. The gameplay is spot on and the controls are simple enough that mastering the more complex nuances of the physics won't take long. While it might not be the most groundbreaking iOS title, its a fun one for sure.

Plants War's core experience is fun enough to warrant several play sessions. It takes a while for things to stop feeling quite so "samey" due to unlocks being so tough to acquire, but it's always satisfying to earn that new unit and take it out for a spin.

It feels like what Flight Control Rocket adds takes away a lot of its core simplicity, though. Now it feels like I'm playing as much for collecting the game's new currency as I am for the pursuit of high scores.

Simple yet fun, Warheads Medieval Tales is well worth a look given its price tag of absolutely nothing. Don't be put off by in-app purchases, as they're really not essential for those willing to put the time in.

A little chugging here and there doesn't keep Kingdoms of Camelot: Battle for the North from being an excellent freemium strategy game. It looks good, it's accessible but still complex and intricate, and there's almost always something to do. Even if that wall upgrade still has a few hours left.

While the game's structure and stance system make Kids vs. Goblins somewhat interesting, the overall lack of control is frustrating. Too much, it gives the sensation that I'm just here to watch the proceedings, not to actually interact, and in a strategy game, that lack of command makes this hard to recommend.

Zombies, Run! effortlessly blends fitness and fun. Runners will enjoy the top notch story and its professional quality audio production. The progression of the story and the incentives and rewards received for running will also give runners that extra boost they might need to go just a little farther or just a little faster.

LEGO Hero Factory isn't a incredibly inventive in it's content, but there is a fair amount of content to play. Regardless, the game is lots of fun to play, and the fantastic visuals fit perfectly with the other LEGO titles. Robber Rabbits is just like a lot of other physics based puzzlers, except that players shoot corks to get the object to the goal instead of swiping or tilting. It's a nice twist, but it still feels like a lot of other puzzle games out there.
