Superbloke isn't quite "super," but it's a solid mobile platformer with some interesting visuals.

If it wasn't for pesky questions being repeated, Confidence would be my new favourite trivia game. As it stands, it's still in my top three as I love the variety of the categories.

If you're looking for a deep, intelligent hunting sim, Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter is ideal. The added bonus of hunting dinosaurs rather than conventional animals just makes it all the more intriguing a proposition.

Dark Legends is at its heart still a fun game, and rather impressive considering that it's still free to play. It works out of the box with seamless cross-platform multiplayer. The only problem is that because it shares the core technology with its predecessors, the only differences are the setup and inclusion of vampires.

How much a person gets out of Arcane Empires depends largely on their previous exposure to Kabam's other freemium city-builder. The core mechanics are still great, no doubt, but they're also not new.

The gameplay isn't deep, but it isn't meant to be. In the pure flick games, I would have liked a little more sensitivity to the strength of the flick – most of mine seemed to go the same distance and have the same impact regardless of my intended velocity – otherwise, the games worked as expected.

Can you survive five nights as the new night watchman of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza? Be warned: the resident animatronic mascots are a bit... buggy. Good luck!

Aplexia is a well crafted puzzle game that requires the player to think intelligently and plan ahead. Although it suffers from some faults that slightly detract from the experience.

Consistently varied, Mucho Party is quite the delight. Even for those with the attention span of a goldfish, Mucho Party is sure to entertain. It’s certainly more entertaining when competing against other players, but even against the AI it’ll make the time pass pretty quickly.

While it may not be the most visually stimulating or even mechanically impressive game on the platform, Offroad Legends proves to be the ideal game for an iOS gamer. It could effortlessly help burn away a few spare minutes or just as easily suck away hours of battery life. No matter what your playstyle, you will not regret the investment.

One of the rare games, much less one of this breadth, that I have completed. No challenge is overly daunting, but most do require at least some minimal thought. The game should make lovers of time management strategy games tap happily for hours.

Texas Hold'em doesn't traditionally offer much wiggle room for creativity, yet somehow Texas Ask'Em Poker managed to have something fresh in the cards. This is one hand that you will definitely want to play out, and often. Ante up, because the brain-busting questions will just keep on coming.

Even though I'm not too fond of the trial-and-error gameplay of the bulk of the stages, there's just too much to love about Amoebattle for me to care. It's a unique spin on a classic genre, and one that's more than worth any interested iOS gamer's time.

A fun, beautiful game that offers a good amount of entertainment. It's not a mind-blowing experience, but it is entertaining and very well-made. Just keep in mind that the blobs are only cute until they try and kill you with fire; then things start getting real.

If the biggest issue with Pig's Dreams is repetition, when the "fun level" is this high, there could be much worse problems to have. Plus, the "dream" world structure leaves plenty of room for expansion later on down the road. Clocking in at only ninety-nine cents, this is the kind of game that will certainly give you more than enough bang for the buck to justify an instant purchase.

Like I said, I have no idea why I keep playing Ark of the Ages. It shouldn’t work. Heck, it sort of *doesn’t* work. But at the same time it does. And even without worthwhile loot grinding, interesting social elements, a plot that matters, music that isn’t obnoxious, or any real challenge it’s still oddly fun. I suppose that’s just the magic of XSEED.
