    Old skool as heck, Flick Champions HD is simple, fun, and addictive.

    The gameplay isn't deep, but it isn't meant to be. In the pure flick games, I would have liked a little more sensitivity to the strength of the flick – most of mine seemed to go the same distance and have the same impact regardless of my intended velocity – otherwise, the games worked as expected.

    Overall, if you're a fan of mini-game collections and you're looking for a new fix, Flick Champions does a solid job of satisfying that need.

    While more games than not in Flick Champions are kind of a bummer, I found enough enjoyment in the Soccer and Ice Hockey/Tennis games to make me keep coming back for more.

    While the game modes are fun and varied, the time or money spent to unlock all the content leaves a little bit of a sour taste.

    You get plenty here for your cash, and a two-player option saves even the poorest events.

    That said, Flick Champions comes up a bit short, but for the price, Tennis, Hockey and Bowling make the package worth it.
