LostWinds is a very worthy purchase. It was relatively expensive for its length on the Wii but on the App Store, it fits in nicely. There may be limited replayability once completed, except for those desperate to collect all the Melodia Idols around the game, however the general ambience is warm and enjoyable. It's backed up by some neat wind based mechanics. LostWinds is a fine way to spend some time.

This game is a great bite-sized retro masterpiece with focused gameplay and modes that will fit any gaming occasion. Box Cat's quirky, unrelentingly enjoyable role reversal will keep players crashing this kitty for a long, long time.

Fans of the retro gaming aesthetic have plenty of other worthy places to look for their fix on iOS.

It's a solid effort for Hogrocket, however. It just needs a challenge level re-adjustment to make it truly as great as I suspect it could be.

The game is just plain satisfying to play and the ever-present draw of earning better gear is a great motivator. A very fun and well-designed game. The graphics and soundtrack are very good and the game play is simple. The only draw back is the incentive to purchase credits to speed up unlocking items and upgrades.
