    Running With Friends is a clone of Subway Surfers, there's no doubt about it, but it brings to the table some new and interesting elements, enriching an already great formula.

    The inclusion of ads and obvious lack of high-resolution visuals somewhat cheapen the game; always bizarre, considering Zynga's technical know-how. By and large, though, Running With Friends is surprisingly fun and worth your time, regardless of your personal feelings towards the company.

    Luckily, Running With Friends works well as a single-player experience. You do need an opponent, but you can choose not to obsess over your distance. Just pull on your running shoes and get going.

    There's nothing in Running with Friends you haven't seen before in the endless-runner genre, but it's presented well enough, and can be very enjoyable with a few friends.

    With lots of friends to play against, Running with Friends is definitely worth a download. But if your social circle isn't on board, then there are far better infinite runner games out there.

    Running With Friends is a Subway Surfer clone that tries to emulate the formula but fails in most regards. Nothing really new is added to theRunning With Friends is a Subway Surfer clone that tries to emulate the formula but fails in most regards. Nothing really new is added to the game, the gameplay feels extremely rigid when compared to its inspiration, and overall the amount of fun to be had is significantly less. Overall, this is a mediocre game that remembered to copy the style of Subway Surfer, but forgot to include its spirit.
