Over the top in all the right ways, and it's fantastic because of it. The animation and great controls make this a fun use of $0.99.- 148Apps

It misses the target a bit with repetitive gameplay but Overkill Mafia's got a sleek, dark style that makes it worth giving it at least one look.- 148Apps

Compelling stuff. It's challenging after a while and will occasionally make the player want to tear their hair out as on the 50th attempt, they struggle to get past that pesky last corner.- 148Apps

Angry Birds feels like it's getting a bit old, but it doesn't feel like it's Rovio's fault. There may only be so much that they can do with the core gameplay and formula, but they're at least showing that even when they could get away with a quick cash-in, they're actually trying to continue to iterate.- 148Apps

Slipping and sliding around areas is more fun than smashing walls down, but Escape from Age of Monsters makes up for any potential tedium with its beautiful art style and varied selection of power-ups. It's a fun ride that will keep players coming back for more for a while to come.- 148Apps

Poker Pals is an interesting take on asynchronous multiplayer games, is easy enough to get into with the core rules of poker, though the rules take a bit of acclimating to.- 148Apps

The amount of content is the only negative that can be found with Dark Dot. It's an absolutely charming game that's well worth a download.- 148Apps

It's a unique take on a superhero flying game that provides quite a bit of action with a lot of space to explore and throw down some sweet power-up combos.- 148Apps

Whether or not Fantastic Knight is "better" than those other action RPGs is entirely a matter of opinion. Whether or not it's "comparable" is a bit more cut-and-dry. Because it is comparable.- 148Apps

It may lack the depth of other iOS shooters, but LAWLESS packs in enough killer visuals and mindless explosive action to make it an exciting ride nevertheless.- 148Apps

If you're looking for a unique way to get to know someone, Fingle might be right up your alley. Kudos for a developer trying something new and different, even if only the most dexterous can successfully play it.- 148Apps

A surprisingly fun strategy board game, with a lot of replay value. So much depends on the other penguins' moves, and the placement of fish tiles is random, so replaying the same board doesn't get too boring. More than that, though, the premise is simply fun.- 148Apps

An addictive little package. It might have much in common with Flight Control but it's also its own game. The single player mode is acutely designed to ensure plenty of fun and the multiplayer functionality is the icing on the cake.- 148Apps

I find myself conflicted about Crafted. On the one hand it's more than a little questionable, what with the "almost-copied" everything. On the other, being in 2D does make it feel significantly different.- 148Apps

Matchblocks is where I like to see puzzle games heading: it's a very different execution, and it works extremely well. Don't let the word "Match" in the title be off-putting, this is not a match–3 game and it stands on its own as a fun original concept.- 148Apps

Newcomers might be a tad lost with some of the story elements, but that won't stop them from enjoying themselves. Plus they can always download every other game in the series for a grand total of "hardly anything."- 148Apps
