Despite an over-reliance on in-app purchases, Fightback is easily one of the coolest and most intense side-scrolling fighters on iOS.- 148Apps

Taking the physics puzzle genre and twisting it just a teensy bit proves quite successful for this challenging, fire-based title.- 148Apps

The title is heavily inspired by Blizzard's World of Warcraft, but its portability adds a dose of novel freshness to a familiar outing.- 148Apps

While the game is relaxing, it isn't something I'm likely to play again. There's no obvious flaw with Zen Bound 2, but there's something that turns me off from a game that's in between something passive (like Crosswords or Scrabble) and something active (like Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja).- 148Apps

EnigmOn 2 is a difficult puzzler that's not for those who get frustrated easily. The design isn't much to write home about and is minimalistic at best, but the complex riddles and integration of the iPhone's features makes it a unique and challenging game that's sure to keep players occupied for many hours.- 148Apps

The Voxel Agents have put together a highly polished app that looks good and controls perfectly. The only thing currently holding it back is a slight lack of depth, which can feasibly be addressed via the intended updates.- 148Apps

Even without the mysteriously absent staples, Dead Trigger is still a fun arcade-style zombie shooting romp. It's probably not going to make everyone happy (what game ever would?), but it certainly does a much better job than some of the competition.- 148Apps

Regardless of whether you have any nostalgia for previous Lumines titles, Puzzle & Music is probably worth getting. Despite some lack of features and some slight control issues Lumines: Puzzle & Music is a great version of a great game.- 148Apps

Rune Raiders is a really addictive title. While the backgrounds suffer a bit from repetition, the challenging gameplay more than makes up for this as it's a title that's hard to put down. There's even a randomized survival mode to unlock, which adds longevity.- 148Apps

Heroes vs Monsters is lots of fun. Even if it is very similar to another title, the overworld map as well as some other gameplay changes - such as defeating characters before being able to hire them - make it different enough to excuse.- 148Apps

Crazy Kangaroo has all the elements to make a successful and addictive iOS game. Cute mascot, tiered progression, colorful graphics, simple but entertaining gameplay, etc. As with most games that offer up similar mission-heavy runs, it can also be easy to get stuck in the Just One More Loop.- 148Apps
