Drain Pipe Surf Dudes takes the popular tilt based endless runner motif and makes it cool and interesting. The ability to perform freestyle tricks might have been welcome, but what is there is an enjoyable experience. It's particularly great to dip into for short sessions of fun progressions.- 148Apps

So, while I think the control mechanic is a step back, Temple Run fans who are clamoring for new iterations on the genre to play should have a good time with One Epic Knight and what it brings to the table.- 148Apps

It's a calm and quite serene experience that still manages to infuriate at times. It's also the kind of game that's ideal for a group of people to join in as, like with many cryptic puzzles, a few extra brains can go a long way to seeing things a little differently.- 148Apps

At risk of sounding jaded, Blobster Christmas feels like a glorified level pack set to a soundtrack that repetitively resembles a holiday orchestra. If this were say, an Angry Birds game, this would have been a completely free update.- 148Apps

Rocket Island scratches that itch between casual strategy game that is just tap-and-move and far too full of dense information so that entire evenings are lost in the bat of an eyelash. There's just enough depth and charm to keep one entertained for a dozen minutes here and there, and the same amount of whimsy found in older god-simulation titles.- 148Apps

Vignettes is perhaps a little too mysterious, but that's a minor gripe in the grand scheme of things. It's an otherwise entertaining and stylish puzzle game that will definitely mess with your head in a lot of creative and mind-bending ways.- 148Apps

Despite its problems, Coromon seems to be the best classic Pokémon experience you can hope for on iOS right now. It is certainly far from perfect, but there's a lot of love and ambition behind this project that is plain to see, and this makes putting up with some of its rougher edges relatively easy to do.- 148Apps

Alien Space Retro's strength comes not just from its aesthetically-pleasing vector graphics, but also its gameplay, which is at times deeper than other dual-stick shooters.- 148Apps

A little absurdity is just inherent to the genre and ultimately Time Trap succeeds because of its tone. Anyone looking for a more engrossing hidden object game should give it a look.- 148Apps

It's one of those games that's obviously been designed specifically for iOS users, the current crop of iOS users that have grown accustomed to quality portable titles, from the ground up. It probably shouldn't be missed.- 148Apps

Don't expect to make any masterpieces in Sketch Nation Studio, but the value here is in enabling the creativity of users. It's about taking a silly idea to fruition easily, and reveling in the creation of others along with it. Who knows, maybe the creator of the next great game will find their way into making the next great game thanks to Sketch Nation Studio, thanks to its accessible creation tools.- 148Apps

It's similar in style to Tetris and Snake, but it has enough originality to keep gamers from feeling like they've never played it before. With progressively challenging levels and a huge number of stages, it's definitely worth adding to the game collection if you can get past the IAPs.- 148Apps

Starman is a fun enough puzzle game, but what really makes it stands out is its fantastic visual design. The black and white aesthetic, combined with richly detailed and interesting environments, makes for a game that you want to stare at all day. Although it isn’t a super long experience, and some of its puzzles can be troublesome, Starman is worth taking a look at.- 148Apps
