Global Supremacy has the makings of a neat location-based game, but there's not really much "game" to it at the moment.

It's a shame, because the 2D gameplay does provide a nice counterpart to the complexity that Grand Theft Auto introduced, the visual style is still rather unique and surprisingly colorful. At times, the appeal of the game shines through. But when the package still feels this rough, why settle for anything less than the real thing?

This racing game sure looks great, but its lack of substance and free-to-play mechanics make it a bit of a drag.

It's not so much that Arcane Battlegrounds is a bad freemium base building game, it's just that it's one that's been done before. A lot.

The CATch! is a fun high-score based title that fails to innovate on an already tired genre. While not a bad game, per se; to most, this is hard to recommend to anyone other than someone desperate for a game similar to Temple Run.

There’s so much going on in This is the Police 2, and it’s hard to understand or enjoy any of it.

I love the concept behind this game, and while the graphics are a bit basic, they work well. The sound, however, is almost non-existent. No background music, at all, and just a few noises made by the vehicles/teams. And yet, these problems pale in comparison to the control issues.

Infinite Jets tries to take the magic of Infinite Tanks to the skies, but fails to reach new heights.

Last Knight is a fantastic looking game, and could potentially be a bunch of fun if it weren't so unmercifully frustrating. It definitely doesn't need more options, but the ones that are already present need some serious tightening before I'd consider this game to be anything more than a showpiece.

A game that involves saving people rather than killing is great to see. However, EMERGENCY feels, ironically, too safe and fails to capture the threat that could have made it an exciting game.

Age of Sparta is a typical freemium strategy game, but one that's slightly above the rest.

While the iPhone 4 optimization will hopefully be fixed in the next update or two, I still get the sense that the game is missing something. I want to play a 3D marble game for that sense of open air freedom, and I just don't feel that here.

Swipe Casters is essentially cool mechanic buried inside a pretty middling arcade game. Drawing spells to cast down enemies is a really neat idea on paper, but when it's reduced to simply tracing patterns given to you as quickly as possible, it's not exactly a great time. In fact, it's pretty disappointing.

With no real sense of progression and a quite steep and unfair difficulty curve (no one likes to be killed by a zombie that they couldn't even see due to the isometric nature of the level), Zombie Rollers is far from one of Chillingo's best entries to the App Store.

It's hard to firmly recommend Girl with a Heart of on iOS due to its clunky interface, slow pacing and the somewhat unrealized execution of a potentially intriguing premise. On the other hand, it does try to do something different than we're used to, which is commendable.
