Overall, Fire Escapes is good for killing a few minutes, but due to a lack of variation in the game play, it won't hold players' attention for too long. The graphics are retro and well done, and it's only $0.99, so it's definitely not a bad deal.- 148Apps

It's very shallow and some more structure would have been appreciated. While there are some basic missions to work towards, it lacks focus, but there is still some enjoyment, especially for those who have suffered from a long day. So, we have a platformer with an interesting idea, but one that feels like it's still in that phase before it's fun. All in all, Stratosphere: Multiplayer Defense probably isn’t for serious gamers. I feel like it may have more of an appeal for casual gamers and children alike, but that doesn’t make it a bad game by any means.
