Looked at on its own (which I'm not sure it deserves) it's an enjoyable enough romp with plenty of replay value. And it's free, and it doesn't really push purchases on me, so that's all to be appreciated. Still, it would be nice to see these values applied to new ideas on iOS a bit more, right? Ah who are we kidding.- 148Apps

It doesn't exactly have the smoothest start, but Gnomes is a pretty cool water physics puzzle game. Levels can be agonizingly complicated (in a good way) and the visuals evoke a little Daniel Merriam, which is very cool. Water wranglers, feel free to take a look.- 148Apps

Similar game mechanics have been used elsewhere but it works well within Subcat forming an enjoyable and challenging title. My only slight concern is the accuracy when tapping but other than that, it's a fun one to drop in on for short doses.- 148Apps

In a lot of ways, holedown feels like the mobile game equivalent of comfort food. It’s something that’s extremely enjoyable from time to time, but too much of it may not be the best thing for you. If this fits the bill of what you want in your next mobile game purchase, than go ahead and give holedown a try, but if you’re looking for a substantive experience on your phone, you may want to look elsewhere.- 148Apps

Without an "endless" mode or some other such business that we've all grown accustomed to in our iOS games, I worry that some players will simply expect to beat To-Fu: The Trials of Chi in a matter of days (or several consecutive hours) and move on to the next title. Rebel Inc. is fascinating and fun, but if you find a strategy in the game that works, it works just about everywhere. This doesn’t bode well for a game that doesn’t really have enough story or other content to it to switch things up dramatically, but somehow I still find the game fun.
