Automatoys is a cool thing that is worthy of praise. It isn't earth-shattering, but it also isn't trying to be. It's a game that firmly understands what is was made for and executes that beautifully. The best part is you can go check to see if you can agree for yourself and toss a few bucks the developer's way if you're hungry for more.- 148Apps

Dungeons of Dreadrock's is a completely unexpected surprise. When you start playing it, it looks and feels like it is just one of 1,000 other fantasy-themed puzzle games you've seen before, but it is so much more than that. The fast pace and locked-room setup of Overboard! are perfect for a mobile murder mystery where you can truly pull the strings behind the scenes. Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins is not the strongest title by Kaigan Games, but it's certainly better than their most recent efforts. Bending light is super fun in Lyxo, but trying to bend the controls to your will is decidedly less so. This isn't such a huge deal so long as the current challenge you're facing doesn't have too many arbitrary gimmicks layered on top of it. I'm fascinated and impressed with how Ord. can convey so much information with so little, but this accomplishment is part of what hampers its appeal. As much as I like Brawlhalla, I find it tremendously unsatisfying to play using a touch screen. Door Kickers: Action Squad feels like a game that should feel tighter and offer controller support, but that's only because the game isn't great at letting you know what it is. If you spend more time with it, it reveals that it's a slower-paced game than it initally seems, and learning to shift your mindset to this more tactical mode is key to enjoying it. This adventure has a lot of ups and downs, but is ultimately worth experiencing for its charming character work.- 148Apps

Despite its pay-to-win tendencies, Pico Tanks can still be a reasonably fun multiplayer game. The nuances of its tank combat and customization options demonstrate there is room for a different kind of tank game out there. I just wish this one wasn’t monetized to tip the balance of matches in favor of whoever spends the most money on it.- 148Apps
