  • Summary: A long time ago, there used to be a mercenary group called the Night Chasers. Instead of making money, they went around helping people in need. During the war, they helped many people who were suffering. But four young people, Zack, Lucien, Sid, and Odelia, decided to carry on their spirit and formed the new Night Chasers.

    In a mission, Zack and his party accidentally saved an elf girl named Dolores, but she couldn't remember anything. Sid worried so much about this girl who traveled far from the Elf Kingdom to the humans' territory. However, this is only the beginning of nightmare for the Night Chasers!

    As unusual as the first game was in its time, this sequel is an even rarer jewel. It adheres doggedly to what was established in the first game, increasing the depth with new mechanics and variables without stepping too far away from what worked. It’s also absolutely massive, with a full RPG’s worth of story to play through. If you’re looking for a great premium game to pick away at without worrying about gacha pulls, subscriptions, or buying bags of gems, give Hero Emblems II a go. It’s worth it.

    The follow up to Hero Emblems adds some wrinkles to its solid puzzle combat but mostly just feels like more Hero Emblems.

    Hero Emblems II is a match-3 RPG that combines role-playing level progression with match-3 combat. The battles themselves feel a little bit on the lighter side when it comes to strategic depth, but it might just be your cup of tea if you're a fan of its predecessor.
