Battle the likes of sozzled bearbearians and nuke-addled snotwolves to protect our glowing green world from the sweaty hands of the Uberlich!

Krumit's Tale involves the same core deck building mechanics as Meteorfall: Journeys and the same cast of overly optimistic heroes, but expands the 'swipe' mechanic into a dynamic grid based system. This means more depth and longevity - our heroes will have to choose perks to complement their deck-building strategy and carefully manage the board if they wish to triumph.

Use your cards to clear dungeons, then upgrade your deck with new cards and perks to press forward. The fate of the world is in your hands.

Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale is simply an exquisite package. It is a well considered and significant evolution of Meteorfall: Journey and then some. The preponderance of modes, loads of personality, and tons of convenience features add so much to what is already a fantastic game at its core. This is a must-buy.

Meteorfall: Krumit's Tale is roguelike deck building at its best - quirky, inventive, and most of all, fun.

Its core gameplay couldn't be more perfect, but lack of content chokes its replayability (and Krumit's Tale begs to be replayed A LOT). Each character has only a few cards to unlock, and increasing levels of difficulty don't give rise to anything new. The devs keep putting out new 'mutations' or game modes, but it does little to nothing to address the root issue: that there is no sense of building toward anything, of persistent accomplishments, or of increasing difficulty yielding increasing (or ANY) rewards. Make no mistake, this is a very good game. A great game? It might not have that ambition. Expand
